Owner doesn't know how to treat loyal customers 11/12/2010

When the Van Nuys location closed back in March, they only had two locations left (Burbank and Eagle Rock), and they used SMALLER tokens than the Van Nuys location.\r \r Everyone who had the LARGER Van Nuys tokens were forced to call the Burbank location (as the owner works there) and exchange them for the smaller tokens.\r \r When I had to exchange my 50+ tokens from Van Nuys back in April, it was a hassle to even get the owner on the phone. I would be told he would be there, but then when I arrived, I would get the run-around from all the workers when he would be there. So, I called every day until I got him. After a COUPLE OF WEEKS, I finally got them exchanged (and he wasn't even there - he had a worker hand me to them).\r \r Fast forward to this past weekend (11/6/10). While cleaning my friend's car, we found 17 ($4.25) Van Nuys tokens. I told him that we should exchange them for the smaller tokens so we can use them.\r \r Yesterday (11/10/10), I called the Burbank location asking if we could exchange tokens from Van Nuys. The lady (who sounded like she didn't care working there) told me that she didn't have the authority to, as that location closed ""two years ago"". No, honey... it closed back in March (eight months ago). So, once again, I asked when the owner would be available. She told me he would be around tomorrow at 10am.\r \r I just called today, waited a couple minutes, and the owner pretty much told me that he wouldn't even exchange them for his tokens since it was ""over a year"" since they closed the Van Nuys location. No, Mr. Owner, you closed that location back in March, eight months ago.\r \r I was upset. So, I told him, that you would lose a customer for a measly $4.25 in tokens? I told him that I go there once a week to play the games. He brushed that off and went on about how they lost over ""6000 pounds"" of tokens due to people bringing bogus tokens to the Van Nuys location, losing over $250,000 in revenue, and how those bogus tokens cost him that location as well as great prizes. That wasn't my problem nor did I care about that. And no, you don't have great prizes. I have tickets for your locations and you have very CRAPPY prizes.\r \r Why do you guys even offer tokens in the first place? THEY ARE 25 CENTS A PIECE! No matter if I buy $0.25, $1, $5, or even $20, you get the equivalent of tokens if they are 25 cents! You might as well use quarters! Why waste money on making tokens if they cost the DAMN SAME AS A QUARTER? It would definitely stop the ""bogus tokens"" that come to your establishment.\r \r He finally compromised and offered me half for the larger tokens (8 of their tokens). I told him that I'd take my business elsewhere from now on, and hung up on him.\r \r GOOD JOB, ALL AMUSEMENT! YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER FOREVER. I HOPE YOUR OTHER TWO LOCATIONS DISAPPEAR JUST LIKE THE VAN NUYS LOCATION.\r \r I'll be going to Sherman Oaks Castle (which has great deals on tokens), Family Fun Arcade (which uses quarters), Japan Arcade (has deals on tokens, but okay games), Arcade Infinity (great deals on tokens AND great games), or any other arcade other than All Amusement for my video game arcade needs.\r \r DON'T PATRONIZE THIS CRAPPY ARCADE. THEIR OWNER NEEDS TO LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE. more
