The owner should be ashamed of himself....making promises to perform quality work and stand behind it. Met with owner to obtain quote on color that we wanted, he stated that he could apply it and would stand behind it, after getting the ""warm fuzzies"" from his BULLS*** storyline that he fed us, we agreed to let him do the job and delivered our vehicle to him. The car was delivered READY TO PAINT....all body work was completed - the job should have been a walk in the park. It wasn't for him. It took forever for him to paint in (the first time) and when we went to look at it there was crap in the paint and there was NO WAY we were going to settle for that after putting approx $80k into this car for show. He attempted to repaint it and did....still issues..AND, due to the prep guy not taping off properly, there was overspray on areas of the car's inside that we pointed out on the first inspection and that he promised would be cleaned up - THEY WEREN'T! In an attempt to respray is either the 2nd of 3rd time the shop talked us into clear coating the floor to further protect it (or course at addtional cost to us) - after contemplating it we agreed but after seeing it it was super shiny and stood out and did not mesh with the theme we had going for the car. The car still was not painted correctly on the exterior, overspray issues were not addressed, etc. The owner, Anthony, should have ""saved face"" and admitted that he was not going to be able to apply the type of paint/finish that we wanted but NO, we had to make a decision that we totally didn't want to do but felt pushed into because, at this point, the shop now had approx $4,000 of our money and we still did not have a quality paint job and issues that still were not fixed. We settled for another ""factory' type color, got paint on that vehicle and got it the hell back home.....knowing there were still issues but NOT willing to risk any more damage/issues to the car and money out of pocket that we already had NOT planned on spending. Did i mention the original quote was $1600 prior to dropping it off and then $1800 when we dropped it off??? Yeah....nickle and dimed us and suckered us in. After getting the car home, waiting for a few more days for the paint to set up we really started looking over it and cleaning it up and notice ALL sort of SH** wrong......like a nice dirty, greasy hand print on the interior floor of the car totally clear-coated over!! Still lots of overspray - most of which was supposed to be taken care of after the first spray. The hood had lint particles throughout, there was a dent in the roof - like someone lost their balance and fell into it, wavy-ness in the doors and down the sides of the car. We were also told that the car was being blocked down prior to next spray and when we started tap out some bolt holes realized that the paint is so thick there is NO WAY any blocking down of the car took place!! 6 layers thick!! We are out $4000+ dollars and still don't have a decent enough paint job to take it to the shows and/or sell it and recoop money. Vegas, a town built on Customer Service and we have this CLOWN ruining it and giving anything but. OH, he did offer to fix it and repaint it after we tried to dispute the charges on our credit card. REALLY???? REALLY???? You didn't get it right the first 6 times and you want us to bring it back to you so you can F*** it up some more? Sorry, we don't have the money or the time or the energy to risk it. Moving on, lesson learned. Learn from our mistake, avoid this shop like the plaque because literally, it will make you sick to your stomach to have to deal with this crap!!\r
