Beautiful Floors in Our Bar 5/19/2008

My brother and I are the fortunate heirs of our uncle's bar, in business for 20+ years. Our uncle Jack was running the place since we were kids, and we have a lot of fond memories of it growing up. HOWEVER, as you can imagine (after 20 some years) my bro and I agreed that we needed a change, and would have to install new flooring. I found All American Hardwood Floors and I have to say that from start to finish, no pun intended, they were professional, friendly, helpful and overall, made the place look unbelievable. I wanted to thank the hard-working crew and let everyone in New York looking for wood floor installation or refinishing to feel comfortable calling these guys. (The Tofolos) more

great repairs on old wood floors 3/24/2008

I'm very pleased with the repair work done by All American in my mom's home. Twenty years ago, when our family had first moved in, the floors were fairly new. In the foyer, dining room, hallways, and kitchen, the floor had really worn down and were in dire need of refinishing. Mom was concerned that we'd have to refloor the rooms so I called for two estimates, one for repair, one for new floors. The guy who came out for the estimate said he'd be happy to re-lay the whole house but that it wasn't necessary if we wanted to keep the original flooring. So we did just that and it looks great! I recommend these guys for worn old floors. more

Worthwhile repair, sealing, buffing 3/18/2008

I recommend these guys if you have older wood floors that need a fix. Our labs and overall foot traffic scratched the floors up over the years and wore them down. Even with rugs, the rooms looked dull. My wife found these guys online. They repaired the dents and scratches and replaced a cracked board, then sealed and buffed everything for a very reasonable price. Looks much, much better. Give 'em a call. more

This is the perfect local company for your wood floors 3/14/2008

I don't mean to sound cheesy but I was just so happy to FINALLY come across a decent wood floor installation company. My husband and I had 6 or 7 companies out for sample showings and estimates. The prices were all pretty standard, some a bit on the high end, and the selection of wood ranged all over. All American sent out the friendliest, most professional gentleman of all. He discussed our options with us in detail, made excellent suggestions, actually LISTENED to what we wanted, explained the installation options and went over the pros and cons of each wood type. Really professional. Just wanted to give them a thumbs up. Our apartment looks beautiful! more
