We live in a very mid Century modern house and owned a second hand (bought at a yard sale), 9 1/2 foot, very 60's sofa. It looked great in the room and we loved the lines. However, the fabric was disintegrating before our very eyes. We did not want to discard our beloved sofa and decided to bite the bullet and go the upholstery route. more

Fast, friendly, expert service 11/15/2009

I have a couch which is neither heirloom nor top-dollar, but I love it (and can't find a good replacement because I don't like today's designs nor today's shoddy construction). The first upholstery place I called told me to turn my couch over, cut a slip in the bottom with a knife, shine a flashlight inside, and get an idea of the problem and call them back (!). I called All Aboard and Brian said he could be over that afternoon. He arrived with Bill, assessed the problems with my couch, described his solutions, an hour later emailed me a quote. They picked up the couch the next day and 3 days later had it back in my l.r. looking beautiful! Their workmanship is excellent! And their attitude is incredibly can-do. How refreshing! I highly recommend this business (no, I'm not related to them nor did I know them before I called them). Pros: Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, high quality service Cons: can't think of any more

hip old chair saved from the dump 1/9/2009

so have had this beautiful chair that is easily older than myself that, unfortunately, kinda smells and has a few rips, really shows it age. bu oh! i love it so! saw the very cool All Aboard van and had to call. these guys were great! cool folks who even had vintage fabric to keep my piece a mid-century marvel. just had a boat built so i needed a complete job: all the canvas work plus cushions and upholstery inside. very sharp lines, best work i've ever seen. i am lucky to have run into brian. Pros: incredible attention to detail more

they took special care of my babies 11/4/2008

incredible work! wow! they did a great job on my babies: two Poul Kjaerholm black leather chairs. one had a nasty tear right in the middle of the seat, been holding onto them for so long, nervous about having them worked on. can't believe i waited so long, now i have two ""new"" cool chairs without having to spend that kind of money in these crazy financial times. Pros: delievered my finished chairs! extremely friendly, cool more

great work, these guys are saints. my partner and i are very particular people and i think we were getting in their hair a bit, watching over their shoulders with endless input. despite our demanding nature we received nothing but kindness and a set of dinning room chairs that look *almost* perfect ;-) Pros: patient, incredible work Cons: slow, but hey, can you rush perfection? ;-) more

extremely precise work 10/13/2008

had these guys re-do the cushions for my v-birth. amazing how better my boat looks now inside. alot of attention to detail, quality was even more than i was really looking for, its making the rest of my upholstery look bad! really friendly people, a pleasure doing business with them. i think i am going to have them re-do my leather couch. more

nicest guys....ever! 10/7/2008

so this cool, old couch, mid century modern sofa, i found at a garage sale has been in my living room a little longer than my wife would like. got the order to take it to the dump but instead brought it to all aboard and wow! its a beautiful piece now. super nice guys, easy to work with, did take a few weeks but you can't believe how great it looks, like it is 1963 all over again. Pros: very friendly, easy to talk to Cons: takes about a month turn around, but that seems to be standard more
