Alkemy Skincare and Laser Center

I recently moved to Winter Park from Los Angeles, California. I have visited several spas in the Winter Park area longing for the same spa experience I left behind in LA. I found Alkemy Skincare on Park Avenue on City Search. On my first visit, I had several treatments including a cellulite reduction treatment, and a facial with a peel. The spa was so welcoming, not to mention beautiful. The personal treatment I received made me feel like I was back at my spa in LA. Everything from the hot towels with a light aroma of lavender, to the music and results was delightful. It almost made me forget that I was there to get rid of cellulite and unruly blemishes! Alkemy skincare is my preferred skincare spa and that will definitely never change. I regularly get brazilian waxing, eyebrow waxing, facials, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, and massages. I also purchase all of my skincare products from Alkemy. Nothing has worked as well as the products and services offered here! Most people might be hesitant to get a brazilian because they feel it will be awkward, but I was so very comfortable! The woman performing the wax and I made friendly and fun conversations, and we laughed the whole time! The wax wasn't used with a strip, it was hard wax, so it didn't hurt hardly at all! I had the smoothest, softest skin; I could tell she used the best quality wax because my hair didnt grow back for weeks, and it was so soft. The facial was so relaxing, I felt like a new person when it was overwith. She gave me a foot and hand massage that really made the facial ultra-soothing. My skin was glowing, literally, for days. The eyebrow waxing is also the best eyebrow wax I have ever gotten. Perfectly shaped and tinted. I also get my eyelashes tinted and it makes the biggest difference on my face. I LOVE it! I also got a massage with Alkemy's massage therapist. It was very professional, and I have never had a better massage. I can tell they only hire the best people possible for the job. The personal service at Alkemy has to be mentioned. I feel like her favorite client. I can't imagine going anywhere else for the services I get at Alkemy. I feel so taken care of, as if I were their most VIP client. I have sent so many of my friends to Alkemy and I myself have been a client for over 2 years. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone! I came to Orlando for work and needed a bikini wax. I was a bit concerned about where to go because I obviously didn't know the area and when it comes to a bikini wax...well...it is necessary to be comfortable with your surroundings. Theresa was AMAZING! Her quaint little shop is located right in the adorable Winter Park Village and she did a fantastic job! I am going back next week for a facial! She even stayed late since I couldn't make it in during her regular hours. I HIGHLY recommend! more

Alkemy skin care does the best brazilian waxing in orlando. I have been getting brazilians for a long time and I loved the person I was with. My friends convinced me to go to Teresa and she was by far better. I am so glad I tried (sorry Tina). I recently enjoyed a great visit to Alkemy Skincare in Winter Park. Teresa, the owner made me feel extremely comfortable upon my visit and was very personable. The atmosphere of the spa is welcoming and pleasing to the eye. One of the hidden benefits is not having to deal with traffic, the spa is easy to get in and out of also. I most enjoyed how sincere and attentive Teresa was to my needs and the facial I received was simply the best ever. She was thorough and she was available to me in the evening unlike some of the more "" trendy locations"" my friends and I used to go to. I'm definately going back to Alkemy! more

At Alkemy Skincare I felt like I was an exclusive customer. I received their full attention while I was there and Theresa couldn't have been any nicer than she was. They seem to treat all their customers this well. The staff is extremely skilled, kind, gentle and honest. It's a very peaceful place and I felt refreshed when I left, even though I was there for a waxing.
