What a fun time. This course just seems to get better with age. They have a new proshop, restaurant and a huge deck on the back that overlooks the island green par 3. I personally think the greens are the best in town, they always run true. Check it out soon before everyone catches on to what a terrific value it is. We played in 4 hours during the middle of the day. more

Best Greens in OC! 6/6/2005

Best greens in Orange County! The staff tells me that Aliso's greens are the same type of bentgrass as Pinehurst #2 the 2005 site for the US Open. They roll very true! The staff is absolutely incredible and very helpful. This is one of the best maintained courses in Orange County. I just played today (June 7, 2005) in less than 4 hours. The new clubhouse addition is a great improvement. The covered deck overlooking the 8 Valley island green is awesome. The food is great (I had the blackened chicken caesar wrap...Wow it was good!!) I highly recommend! It's my favorite course! Pros: Great Greens, Management/Staff, Fast pace of play Cons: Length, Fescue rough, Can get busy more

SLOW!!! 8/27/2003

This has always been a disappointing experience. Course is well designed and has some interesting holes and convenient location - but management does not seem to care about pace of play. 5 hour rounds are fast here - don't play without a large cooler of beer and have lots of ice. That is the only way to enjoy the round because there is a lot of sitting around before EVERY shot. Too bad because this should be a fun course. Price would be good value for quality of course - but due to poor management it isn't. Pros: Location, Course Layout Cons: SLOW pace of play, SLOW pace of play more
