When businesses make money in our neighborhoods, and off our children, but outright refuse to be a part of our community, and help in the most mi-nute way when a loved one is lost.
Yesterday, December 12th 2007, a very small and old, white poodle mix named Vince, who is the sweetest little guy vanished in the blink of an eye around 12 noon. He went missing from Aliso Creek and Wolvereen, the street that leads to the Aliso Niguel High School, just as students were leaving the campus for lunch.
It is suspected that a student may have found him and taken him home as his mom, Sherly Dean, had just changed his collar to his Christmas collar and had not had a chance to to switch over his id tag.
He was wearing a red harness along with his red & green Christmas collar.
As both his mom and myself (a neighbor) spent the last two days looking for him, posting notices, calling vets offices in the event someone found and brought him in, and even climbed the hillside slope at night and looked in the water reveen, when we both tried at different times to have the local Shell Gas Station / Jack In The Box, located at 27882 Aliso Creek Rd, Aliso Viejo, (949) 362-1854, just allow us to post his picture since many students of the high school are there every morning and after school, they outright refused .
What if it were a child missing ? they still would not allow any photos to be posted !!!
Who cares if your child has 2 legs or 4, we are the ones who are putting money in their pockets everyday. How hard is it to allow a single photo and phone number to be posted ?
What it says about how they care about the community they are making alot of money off of is that they really do not care about anyone else.
Even though they are the gas station right next to our community, I for one will never put a single cent in their pockets again by patonizing thier establishment .
We are all heart broken. If anyone can help get the word out and find little Vince, and bring him home where he belongs with his mom and dog sister, it would be the BEST Christmas present in the world.
