I never give reviews. I like to read them but I never give out reviews. After visiting guru chropractic, I felt compelled to write something. Dr Rubens went out of his way to see me. He kept the office open until 8:30 pm just to see me. I went in barely able to move my neck, and i walked out with full range and pain free. He is a gem and a wonderful find. more

When I saw that Guru Chiropractic had all these great reviews, I admit to being quite the skeptic. But, I was in pain and needed a serious adjustment. \r \r First of all, I called to schedule an appointment and Dr. Rubens extended his hours a bit to make time to see me. Awesome!\r \r Anyway, Dr Rubens deserves each of its great reviews. Dr. Rubens is exceptional in the care he provides, combining massage with his careful adjustments. I felt safe in his care (which, is kind of hard when someone is cracking your back and snapping your neck) and with every visit I feel better and better. Plus, he isn't the kind of chiropractor who is trying to make me come in every week for the rest of my life. He has a treatment plan with a potential end-date. \r \r Also... I ended up getting a massage (covered my insurance company with a co-pay) from Leti who, literally, gave me the best massage I have had to date. Granted, I was in pain when I went in and I've only seen four or five other massage therapists but she knew what she was doing. She was super mindful of how I was feeling and made me feel comfortable by letting me know what she was doing. She didn't talk my ear off either, but let me relax, which was a super bonus. So the reason I came to Guru Chiropractic was because I had gotten a Living Social deal for a chiropractic adjustment & massage. And I was totally blown away by how fabulous it was! First of all, is there really anything better than a fabulous massage? Love it!!! Then a chiropractic adjustment, which is always so beneficial for my back. The combo is dynamite!\r \r Dr Rubens is extremely knowledgeable and also very gentle. I never had that moment of anxiety that I do with some chiro's right before they are about to crack your neck or back. \r \r The place is easy to find and I even found free parking just around the corner. Very comfy waiting area. And since you schedule an appointment there really is no wait. \r \r Will definitely be back the next time my back needs some pampering :) more

Dr Rubens has made my life significantly better.\r \r I've had poor posture for a long time, mostly from sitting in front of a computer for hours a day (for years and years). His care has helped my body become stronger and more resilient to the mistreatment I give it. I have been going to GURU for a little over 3 months. Originally a Living Social coupon for a massage brought me in. I had been having some horrible neck pain so it seemed like the perfect combination of services for me.\r \r My massage: Fabulous! \r My treatment: So crazy! Dr. Rubens first gave me a consultation (and a quick exam) and then explained to me what was causing my issue. I had to do something...so I had him adjust me (even though I was scared to death) and wow...relief! I set up follow up sessions and no longer have pain on a regular basis. He doesn't just adjust you but recommends exercises that can assist in recovery. I try to get in about every 6 weeks but that doesn't always happen. They work with you to get your insurance figured out and aren't even too expensive if it's not covered.\r i love this place\r more

I've been going there for a few months. Dr. Rubens is knowledgable, friendly, and very personable. He offers a full service operation including 2 on-site massage therapists and help with stretching exercises for homework. I'm 48 and I feel better today than I did in my 30's. I found this place by searching on Yahoo and the reviews looked like an infomercial for Dr Rubens. But the reviews are right on track. Dr Rubens has extensive training and he integrates a wide range of healing modalities in addition to his exceptional chiropractic skill. I also had a couple massages and the masseuse wereincredibly talented themselves. I havent tried Dr Glick yet but I m told he is just as good. \r I have used many chiropractors due to my frequent travel and GURU is at the top of my list! I actually have them on speed dial when I m in LA. more
