Alice's Ark

After trying different grooming shops in town and being disappointed, I found Alice's Ark. They have quality grooming and a great price. I boarded my dog for the weekend and was very pleased at their facilities. more

When I first moved to Stillwater, I had little time to research my options for boarding and grooming my Bull Mastiff and Yorkie. After receiving a few price quotes from local vet clinics and boarding kennels, I finally decided to try Alice's Ark. I toured their facility on a Friday, and was impressed with the cleanliness, size, and safety that was offered. I dropped in on the kennel, without appointment, and was impressed to see that in addition to being far cleaner than any other kennel I had seen, the facility was fully air conditioned and heated. Spacious runs, personal care, and a staff that truly loves animals has earned Alice's Ark my designation as the best in Stillwater. They offer a full service bathing and grooming salon, their rates are quite reasonable, and they are very attentive to my dogs' needs. If I could put EXTREMELY unsatisfactory on this review I would!!! If you can anything for your pet PLEASE do not ever leave them here! I do not think they feed or water them for long periods at a time as they say then they have to clean up their waste!! I was seriously afraid for my dog, and afterwards heard several accounts from lots of other people of horrors of this place! I would love to turn them and have them closed down but I do not know how to do this. Please look else where in Stillwater or Edmond and have the peace of mind that your animal will be safe and not abused!!! more

A reasonable place to leave your dog if you are going to be gone. Alice's Ark boards dogs if you are out of town. They are pricey, but they take pretty good care of the dogs. The dogs do have hte benefit of the company of other animals and not being left alone all day. You do not have to worry about someone coming into your home while you are out. Not a bad deal. more
