Alice Shammah Photography

I found Alice by doing an internet search for local photographers. I looked at her site and loved the infant portraits. My 11 month old and I had a shoot using the white swing. It was a hit with my daughter and so was Alice. I was very surprised that she was able to capture my Maddie so well since she hardly sits still. I am very please with my pictures and Alice's professionalism and flexibilty. more

She made me feel very comfortable. The shoot was very artsy and she was very pleasant to be around. I am pleased with the outcome of the photos and I cannot wait to receive the actual prints. Alice took my maternity pictures and they are perfect! She has a way of capturing people in a way that makes a statement. Originally we were only looking to have one canvas done but could not decide between so many lovely pictures. We ended up choosing numerous pictures for print in addition to our canvas. The only photographer you will ever need. I met Alice 6 years ago when she took my daughter's newborn portrait. I consider it a work of art. She beautifully captured my baby girl at different stages of her life over the years and have them displayed all over the house. I look at them with fond memories and til today get many compliments. I recently had another baby and Alice is photo documenting her as well. She is great with babies and kids and I always enjoy talking to her. \r more

Alice did a great job as she captured our first pregnancy. We have been using Alice Shammah Photo in NYC for years. Our first experience was when my wife was pregnant with our first child, We decided to capture the moment and have maternity pictures taken. After researching online we came across Alice's website and we were both impressed with what we saw so we decided to go for it. Our experience was great and we were happy with the results. So I decided to do my first boudoir session to give it as a Valentine's Day gift to my boyfriend. The search was not easy, I was a little exultant about where and with who I should do it...after viewing many websites, I found Alice's, and decided to give her a call. She was extremely friendly and I ended up choosing her studio! I started, then, to wonder if I could feel uncomfortable or shy... But I was so glad to state that I was wrong only 5 min into the session!! Alice made me feel absolutely comfortable and beautiful the entire time! She directed me very well on what would or would not look good; she was very patient and made the whole experience unforgettable, in its best way! I just loved the results, the pictures came out amazing and of a very good taste!!! I will indicate 100% to everyone, she is an excellent professional!!! more
