We have recently re-instituted ""date night"" on our Friday nights. Unfortunately, last week I was ill and we had to postpone until lunch on Saturday. We made our way to Ali Baba only about half an hour after they had opened. The place was nice and naturally lit, everything was spotless, and the staff was very attentive. After being seated, we were made to feel like we were the only people in the restaurant (we weren't). We ordered the mazza plate to share, and then the garlic chicken to share. This was well more than enough food for 4 people. The babaganoush and hummus were the best I have ever tasted. Topped with the tabouleh salad, we were in heaven with every bite. The chicken arrived in perfect time after we devoured the mazza plate. The chicken was perfectly seasoned. The breast could have been a little more juicy, but the dark meat (my favorite) was amazing. We will definitely be visiting this place again, and often at that! I would reccommend this restaurant to anyone. There are two locations in Dallas. We went to the one on Abrams.
Pros: Mazza platter, garlic chicken, service, portion size
Cons: hard pressed to think of any
