Algonkian Golf Course as a public course offers everything you need...pro shop, driving range...oh yeah, and a nice golf course. While not the best maintained course, it is very long and reasonably challenging. Whether you choose to reserve a tee time or would like to walk-up and play, it is surprisingly easy to find a tee time here in the saturated Northern Virginia area. Marshalls make sure pace of play allows for an enjoyable golf game, and it is not uncommon to see deer and other wildlife while playing. In addition, nearby camping, fishing, and playgrounds offer a nice respite.
