Best Mini Golf in the DC area! 1/17/2006

Upton Hills is my favorite mini golf course in the region. Their single course is a hilly one, but laid out such that you don't get frustrated with it. Yet, you feel like you've accomplished something if you get a hole in one. The greens are kept up beautifully and not bounded by those cheap gutters you'll find at Putt Putt and other places. more

Long Course, Reasonable Price, Nice Setting 9/28/2005

Algonkian Golf Course as a public course offers everything you need...pro shop, driving range...oh yeah, and a nice golf course. While not the best maintained course, it is very long and reasonably challenging. Whether you choose to reserve a tee time or would like to walk-up and play, it is surprisingly easy to find a tee time here in the saturated Northern Virginia area. Marshalls make sure pace of play allows for an enjoyable golf game, and it is not uncommon to see deer and other wildlife while playing. In addition, nearby camping, fishing, and playgrounds offer a nice respite. more

golfs away 8/6/2005

great place to go golfing but kinda far from mclean area, the only time to go here is druing th weekend because the traffic is bad when goin during the weekday unless you time it right... priced at a resoanlbe value thiss place will give u the practice you need before you go pro and play at the PGA tours the services they have are also great in tat they help you out with almost wat ever you need the only problem is the dress code...too hot to wear polo shirts more

NORTHERN VIRGINIA REGIONAL PARK AUTHORITY hosts a very large park with paths to run on right off of the Potomac River, a driving range, mini golf, an 18 hole gold course, and best of all a VERY large pool. The pool has two large slides and some smaller ones and a bunch of diving boards. more

Algonkian’s front nine tree-lined fairways are long, straight and flat while the back nine features hills and several dogleg and water holes. Check out this water park... 6/24/2005

Children love the water slides and the huge bucket of water that pours over the play-splash pad. The mini golf course next to the water park was upgraded in 2005. Rent a riverfront vacation cottage in the park and receive free water park and mini golf passes as well as discounted regular golf.
