Worst

I have tried Alf's three times now and been disappointed each time. To be fair, the ""char-burgers"" do live up to their name, they are perhaps just too overcooked for my tastes....

Lots of fun for the kids 11/14/2005

Alf's is definitely an oldy but a goody... it's been around as long as I can remember. My husband loves the burgers and says the shakes are just incredible! Personally I think they could use a better selection on the ice cream, as I'm a cookie dough ice cream fan myself. So I was a little disappointed in that.... I didn't want to pay a decent amount of money on a "Plain Jane" vanilla shake... The prices are more like restaurant prices than Burger King but the burgers are much better than Burger King too! Of course the kids just want to go look at the monkey in his little play pen! I would recommend it simply because it's definitely an original experience. more

Cute little Place 9/1/2005

This is a good place to grab a burger and shake. They offer homemade ice cream which is very good. They also have been voted best hamburger in town for many years. They sometimes have monkeys in a area on the side, that is gross to me, so we dont dine here often, but when we do the kids enjoy watching the monkeys play. more

Entertaining eating! 6/16/2005

I especially like going here for their homemade ice cream, which is much better than anything I'd bought in the store. They also have good burgers and even have received several awards lately for best burger in the area, so it's definitely worth trying out. There are some live monkeys which provide lots of entertainment. This is a great place to go for a family outing, even though the price is a little higher than other fast food burger places. more
