Opened in 2004, this relative newcomer is a bit of an accidental winery. Soft spoken Alex and more talkative Lise have been growing grapes for more than 20 years, mostly selling them to other wineries and making small batches of wine to share with friends. Finding themselves with a surplus of grapes, they decide to turn pro. The result is a lauded selection of old vine Sauvingnon Blanc, Riesling and cab--and a signature Sherry produced in a rare solera system adjacent to the tasting room.
