In July of 2013, I called agent Alexis Jarrett's State Farm office to let them know that we sold our home and needed a quote on a new home. I have documentation of phone calls back and forth through my Verizon wireless account. After receiving the quote I realized another company seemed to be a better fit and let the representative of Alexis Jarrett know. There were not any other words of guidance or questions regarding our current policy that we held with them on our home we sold. This past July, we received a notice from State Farm notifying us that our premium payment was due. My husband contacted the agent to find out what was going on and they told us that they had not any idea we had sold our home. They backdated our policy 30 days and are refusing to backdate to the date of sale to issue our $1000 refund. I have contacted Alexis Jarrett as well as State Farm but the issue was not resolved. Alexis Jarrett's agency has made nothing but petty mistakes when it comes to their policy holders, from not properly closing out a policy to insuring the wrong family members on the wrong vehicles. There are a large amount of State Farm agencies and I urge you to seek out those rather this one.
