I went there on a Tuesday with a minor tooth ache, that bothered me off and on. After many, many x-rays, digital pictures and an exam by the dentist, he couldn't find anything wrong with the tooth. But he talked me into a cleaning, which could be done ""right away"". Almost 2 hours later I got the cleaning. After it was all done, my tooth started to hurt. Constantly. It woke me up at 3 A.M.the next morning. I went back to the dentist, who still couldn't find anything wrong with the tooth. Instead he gave me a prescription for pain pills.\r
The next morning I woke up with a swollen cheak. Back to the dentist. And NOW we have to do a root canal. Of course that wasn't possible until the NEXT day, because that's when the root canal specialist is going to be in. This time the dentist tried to give me a prescription for antibiotics, which I am allergic to. (Filled that out on one of the many pages of history - guess they were too BUSY to read the paper work right - very scary!!!).\r
The root canal was done the next day with a temporary filling - good work. Hardly anymore swelling, no more pain. Could have saved me a lot of money and trouble and time lost at work, if he would have done that right away, instead of getting the money for the cleaning first. I also asked them why I had to pay for the root canal, when the infection very obviously was caused by the cleaning. The flipping answer that ""it would have happened anyway"" is just an example for how thorough they want to be - not with the treatment of the patient, but with the billing!\r
After two weeks I am supposed to get the final filling. The staff member calls me to confirm a ""check up"". No, I said, I am supposed to get the final filling. We argued back and forth. But at that time I didn't even care anymore. Because in the meantime Alexander Dental Group had sent me a bill, for money supposedly owed for the second treatment. Both treatments were taken care of right away (and this time it actually meant right away) by credit card while I was in the office. If I wouldn't have had the bill from the credit card company already, which proofed both treatments paid for, Alexander Dental Group would have double billed me on top of all the other trouble!!!\r
I still would have let it all go, just glad to be done with them. But last week I received a phone call from Alexander Dental Group to ""confirm my appointment"" for the coming monday!!! \r
After all that bs you have put me through, you really have the nerv to call me and lie (again!) about an appointment!!!??? \r
Needless to say that is the last place on earth I would ever go back to.
