Ale 8 Bottling company Is one of the last independent bottlers in America. The tours of the bottling plant are both entertaining and educational. The employees of the plant make it a truly fun experience that will be enjoyed by young and old alike. Ale 8 may be an acquired taste,but the tour will be enjoyed by all. more

Ale 8 Bottling Company is one of the last independent bottlers in America. Touring the bottler is fun and educational for the entire family, The tour is very entertaining and a great place to take out of town guests. Ale 8 is very definatly an aquired taste. I have yet to meet anyone who was not born in Winchester or Mt. Sterling who drinks the beverage on a regular basis, but the natives swear by it. more

Ale-8-One has been manufactured by the same faimly in Winchester since 1928. Sold all over Kentucky, and somewhat in surrounding states, Ale-8 is one of the last independent soft drink makers in the country. Citizens of Kentucky have long known that they were drinking something special, and secretly, I think we've always hoped the rest of the world wouldn't find out. The bottling company offers tours here on Friday mornings, where you can learn about the manufacturing process and the rich history surrounding Winchester and Ale-8. more
