Used to be a Five Star Animal Hospital 5/24/2012

We have been bringing our dog to Aldrich for over the last 10 years. After a recent visit we were told that a problem had been found and our dog needed to be on medication. Follow up blood work would need to be done after 3 to 4 weeks on the meds. We brought our dog in for the blood work. We mentioned that our poor dog had a rough couple of days and we were concerned. All of a sudden our follow up blood work became a wellness visit and we got hit for an additional $200.00 for that visit. We were supposed to receive a call with the results of the blood work in the next day or two. Well it was a week ago today and we have still not heard any results. Needless to say this visit was NOT with Dr. LaScala. Very disapointed with Aldrich and the little care for our dog. The concern was not for his health, but their wealth. Shame on Aldrich Animal Hospital!!! more

Amazing Veterinarian 10/5/2010

I was unhappy with my first Vet and a friend told me about Aldrich-specifically Dr. LaSala. I have a Chihuahua that doesn't like many people and bit my previous vet. When I met Dr. LaSala she sat down on the floor to be on my dog's level.What do you know-my dog jumped up on her lap and licked her face! I'll never leave! more

Caring Vet 9/15/2010

The Aldrich staff is wonderful! My animals are my children and Dr. Lasala treats them as such. She makes such a big deal over my dogs whenever I'm there. more

Compassionate 5/25/2009

I recently moved to Long Island from South Carolina with 5 animals. I have been to 3 animal hospitals since and was not happy with any of them UNTIL I visited Aldrich Animal Hospital. I saw Dr. Lasala\r and she was kind and genuinely concerned about my pets. She was thorough and gentle. The prices were slightly higher than the other hospitals I visited BUT truly worth it! more

Mixed reviews 11/26/2008

We've had animals for most of my life, ok, well for all of my life and Aldrich was one of the places we used for a vet. It's been years since we went there but back then they didn't seem to care as much for the animal brought in as I would have liked to see. All vets should LOVE all animals and show it. more

This animal hospital has been around for years, owners have changed, but the service provided and the care that they extend is great. They also are very helpful with feral cats and participate with groups that offer dicounted spay/neuters. I would definitely recommend them. more

I liked this vet 11/24/2008

I was impressed with the staff and service at this clinic. The wait time was pretty short and the vet took her time examining my cat. She seemed to know her stuff and the cost of the exam wasn;'t too outrageous., more

Nice vet hospital 11/24/2008

I took my cat here several times. The hospital is large and the vets are nice. My cat got good care, but it was a bit overpriced since a simple blood pressure reading was $116. It is a good hospital for animals and I do recommend it. more

excellent quality of care 8/13/2008

Aldrich Animal Hospital is the only place my in-laws will take their dog for her wellness. Thanks heavens we've never had any pet emergencies but feel secure enough with the services the Hospital provides for the general maintenance of Jingles. Couldn't ask for better vet care. more
