Frozen food section is better... 2/13/2012

February 12, 2012 \r Doesn't like it\r \r Terrible and inauthentic Italian food.\r \r by KARMAC1 (1 review) \r \r I placed an order for pick-up and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. 45 minutes later it was "ready." 28 dollars for 1 order of lobster ravioli and a side salad. The ravioli was cold. Called back and the girl couldn't have been ruder when I questioned the price/timing/quality of the order. Spoke to a manager who simply wanted to argue with me about how the food is ready "depending on how busy they are." There was no one in the restaurant and now I know why. Do yourself a favor and check out ANY of the other authentic italian restaurants in Newtown, like La Stalla or Buono Vito. more

Aldo's is great, reasonable, and has such a big menu that the whole family will be happy. The staff is great, and the service is top notch. And of course, the pizza is awesome! Pros: Great Menu, Staff, and Restaurant more

If you want a teenager to abuse you on the phone, please by all means; call in to place a take out order. The standard greeting is ""ALDO'S PLEASE HOLD"" Pros: none that I can think of Cons: Expensive shrinking portions- rude staff more

BYOB/ Itialian Restaurant 1/30/2009

Aldo's has great food and atmosphere. They have everything from pizza to Lobster Ravioli. I have been there on several occasions with large groups and they are very accommodating. you can stay as along as you like and are never rushed out. It's a BYOB which makes it affordable. more

Besides their pizza, Aldo's has a great little restaurant in the back. The food and service are great. It is a BYOB restaurant so that makes it affordable. A great place to eat. more

Favorite Pizza 1/6/2009

They will make you a pizza ready to order with almost any kind of toppings you can think of. They also have a wonderful little Italian restaurant with wonderful atmosphere and food. I would have to say the cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks are the best I have ever had. more

Pizza and subs,yum yum 11/12/2008

When I visit back home,this is one of my favorites to always go to with family and friends. The pizza is thin crusted and made to order.The subs are out of this world and the bread is whats makes them awesome.The pizza steak with sauteed onions is my favorite. Try them out.I would highly recommend them. more
