Los Altos is definetly a town off the beaten path. However, this restaurant ""Aldo, Los Altos"" is worth the short drive from , Los Gatos, Sunnyvale, Mountain View or Palo Alto. I love their small plates idea. Instead of ordering a big plate of one thing you can order a few small plates of a variety of things. Even better if your with a group of friends you can all order a few and share. It is so much fun and their prices are more than reasonable. They also have traditionl Italian fare with a 21'st century flare. I want to come for lunch one day for they have these things on their lunch menu called Piadina and Panzerotti. I'm not sure what they are but I am definetly intrigued. This is the first restaurant that I have been introduced to in a long time that has suprised me with new food choices. Finally something new that I don't have to drive to SF for and suprisingly in Los Altos!!!..
Pros: easy parking, great food choices ,lots of Italian wine unpretencitous
Cons: The Los Altan parents love this restaurant too and bring their children
