If there's anything you need, no matter who you are, this is the place! From a tea house to The Gap - under cover or wonder outside (like an upscale University Village). They have a GREAT play area for kids under 5ish, which is right by the Starbucks (genius, by the way), and awesome restaurants!! My two favs are P.F. Chang's (VERY good food and kid friendly) to the Claim Jumper (affordable, big portions, and also kid friendly). Watch out on the weekends, though. You may have to wait hours! more

You've come a long way baby! 4/13/2006

The Alderwood Mall has really become a great place to shop. With the addition of the whole outside wing, the mall has gone upscale and that's a good thing. There is now a Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Janie and Jack, a 2 story Borders (although I still prefer the Barnes and Noble across the street). There are now lots of choices for food - from your run of the mill food court fare to nicer things like PF Changs, the Macaroni Grill and McGrath's Fish house. Fun place! more
