Happy Dog, Happy Life!! 7/12/2011

I just picked up my Five year old Lab from Alden's. She is a rather anxious dog and I am always nervous kenneling her at a new place. These folks are caring and wonderful. She participated in their Board and Train Program and my dog did great. She was so calm and relaxed when I picked her up and they even emailed me a video of her, for me to check in while I was away. I can't say enough about how happy I am with these folks!!! They took the time to learn about my dogs issues and address them. They really made sure my dog was well loved during her stay. Thank You, Aldens for loving my dog as much as I do!!! more

Awesome Place , Great Owners 5/24/2011

I really like taking my furry family member to Aldens Kennels, It is clean and safe environment that really gives him a sense of tranquility. What an awesome facility, They are on 12 acres up agents a forest preserve so my pet really gets a relaxing environment, which is so important when they are away from you. With Janet and Al raising prize Pomeranian for over 25 years, I know they have the experience to take good care of my furry family member. more

Great experience 5/18/2011

I had a really good experience with this facility. Actually, there have been many. It is very clean and smell free, which is important to me when leaving my baby behind. I also had training there. The trainers were ok, but when they left I felt the company handled it well by offering to refund my money immediately. The new trainer is really, really good. I would highly recommend Alden's Kennels. more

Area's best trainers 5/16/2011

We take our dog to Alden's Kennels for training and have found the trainers courteous and attentive. The folks at Alden's Kennels provide the area's best quality dog training. It's absolutely amazing to bring an uncontrollable pet to Alden's and, after only a couple sessions, come home with a positive member of the family. The level of expertise the trainers offer is obvious to anyone who has spent any time at Alden's Kennels. Based on the experience the trainers offer, it's no wonder. Recently, I was watching Rolando Salvador, one of their expert trainers, working with several members of the Greater Chicago Schutzhund Club. It was just amazing. When they worked with the dogs, the dogs were on and intimidating. When the work was done, the dogs were as friendly as can be. I was very, very impressed. Even if you don't have a dog, it's worth it to come out and see this. more

owners rude 3/26/2011

I have been training my dog with Carlos and Ashley they are the best trainers around. I just found out that they are no longer with the kennel, I was signing up for classes and the owners of the kennel lied telling me it was their day off. When I questioned the owner was very rude to me. I would like to know where Carlos and Ashley are moving to as i would still like to work with them! more

Super Great Boarding and Training Service\r We have a 2 year old Rottweiler that had some issues. We had gone to the facility to check it out and what a pleasant experience. We sat down with the trainer, Ashley and discussed our concerns about out dog. We then decided to have Ashley work with Tia. Tia was in the board and train program. During her training away from home we were able to watch her progress on a daily basis thru their web site. We were very impressed at the progress she made every day. We are so pleased and we thank Ashley for training Tia to be a better pet. It such a pleasure to walk with our dog and have her listen and obey. Life is so much eaiser with a well behaved dog. Tia was treated with so much love and attention by all at Alden's.\r We can't say enough of how impressed we are with what Ashley was able to accomplish. more

Outstanding Dog Boarding Service 9/19/2010

Alden's Kennels provided outstanding boarding services for our two dogs while we were out of the country for two weeks. They know and love dogs well and, with their experience and commitment, they provided quality, individual care to our two very different dogs. The facility is excellent and is located in a lovely natural setting, allowing for ""nature walks"" - a great gift for dogs staying at a kennel. But the care and kindness of the owners is even more remarkable. Our older dog required special attention - she was treated with extraordinary compassion and competence. The level of care she received was far above and beyond what you would expect. I remain deeply grateful. I highly recommend Alden's Kennels without reservation. If you want to board your dogs with knowledgeable and loving caretakers, bring them to Alden's! more

Great place to board and or train your dog!!!! 3/13/2010

I left town for 2 1/2 weeks and came back to a different dog. Prescious was trained to sit, lay down, sit on a bench for as long as the trainer wanted, heal and obey other commands. This is a 7 year old dog that was totally untrained and the saying you can't teach an old dog new tricks does not apply here.
