I was sent to these specialists a year ago for possible prostate cancer. Do I have cancer? I assume not because I'm still alive. Have my symptoms improved? No. Not a bit. Have I ever seen a doctor? No. I have only seem a Nurse Practioner or Physicians' Assistant. My treatment? I've had the same screening test for prostate cancer done 6 times. How do I find out the result of my tests? I have to call and remind them to tell me----six times thus far. My complaints about their lack of attention to me are ignored or I'm told they're too busy. I was referred to a specific doctor; whom I have never seen. more

Avoid At All Cost 12/7/2009

My husband has had trouble urinating and has a painful lump on one testicle. He made an appointment, in October, with Dr. Geswaldo. He had a sonogram completed. There was an administrative problem concerning some Union paperwork with his insurance that could be fixed in 2 days. Albuquerque Urology refused to give him another appointment for more than six weeks even though he was in pain & we had to have everything done by the end of year due to our insurance deductable. We arrived on time and waited a long time An employee told us that Dr. Geswaldo was hung up at the hospital but they had talked to him and he was definitely on his way to the office. We waited a very long time. The same employee came to the exam room and told us that she was sorry that we would have to reschedule the appointment because they had just found out that Dr. Geswaldo was in Atlanta, GA. The employee checked and said they could work him in with Dr. Kuang. Again, we waited a very long time. My husband didn?t believe they were really working him into the schedule and wanted to leave. I asked to speak to a manager and they took me to Sharon Gonzalez. She urged me to take my husband to the emergency room because they were very busy. I explained to her that we could not afford the co-pay that an emergency room visit would require. She said that it would be best if we didn?t discuss any of the things that had happened with Dr. Kuang. Sharon Gonzalez came out to the reception room & kept pushing my husband not to wait for Dr. Kuang. She offended my husband. He decided that Albuquerque Urology Associates didn?t want to see him so we left. more

I went to this place with a diagnosis in hand, CT scans showing my condition (a congenital ureter/UPJ obstruction), and all my other medical records. I saw Dr. Quong. The doctor made get new CT scans for some unknown reason, which cost a lot of money. I know the CT scans I had were good because they were used to diagnose me. Pros: polite Cons: surgery had to be redone more
