Albright-Knox Art Gallery 4/2/2006

This is a gem in the area. Buffalo is well known for its arts and culture and this is the centerpiece of this greatness. It is relatively inexpensive to visit this gallery. They have special events all the time, special collection that are visiting and free events. The gallery even takes advantage of the outdoors and has many fun events in the summer. more

This is one of the best places in Buffalo to visit. The gallery here is top notch, many artic experts consider it one of the better galleries in this country. They have wonderful deals in the summer months and weekends, just go to their website to check into them. They also some music related events in the summer months that takes advantage of their beautiful grounds. more

You need to be into modern art to enjoy 3/25/2006

Many of the exhibits that come through the gallery have a more modern look to them. The gallery has a nice layout that allows for a leisurely stroll through its rooms. An added bonus for the gallery is that it is free on Friday’s and typically there is something else going on, either a concert, a poetry reading or lecture. If you are into art this is a relaxing place to spend an afternoon. more

Buffalos Gem of an Art Museum 8/21/2005

The Albright-Knox Art Gallery is an excellent Art Gallery. You can enjoy the jazz series that are in the yards. Take your time as you walk thru and enjoy. On Fridays you can enjoy new events. There are beautiful museums all over the world. I think this is really one of the best. So spend a day and enjoy the beauty. more

Nice place to spend a relaxing evening 8/20/2005

This is probably the best art gallery that I have been to. I am not much into art so I cannot comment much on their exhibitions but they have a huge collection anyways. They are open till late on fridays which is a plus. Also they offer discounts for students. They also have certain days when entry into the gallery is free so be sure to check those dates on their website. They also offer guided tours of their permanent collection at no extra cost which is great. Be sure to head to this place for a relaxing afternoon. more

The Albright-Knox is the best art museum in the Buffalo area. It's moderately sized with an area that's open to the public. There is also an exhibition area that changes exhibitis regularly. Collections from other art galleries, personal collections, etc. will come here and make their stay for several months. These are usually very nice exhibits and have included Modigliani, Renoir, da Vinci, in the past. During the summer, the Albright-Knox has a free jazz series in it's backyard. This is a great place for all to come and sit out and enjoy. more

when u finish one week tough work and get the time for urself, I think the Art Gallery is the best to go. on Friday from 3 to 10, u donot need to buy ticket there. and There are a lot famous art works shown by famous artist. The most I like is the modern art shown there. more

I love the Pollocks 8/8/2005

The Jackson Pollock work is my favorite, but the Albright Knox always has a new great exhibit. The local artists series was especially interesting. Every Friday night you can go and enjoy a new event and walk through the Gallery. They also have a decent restaurant and stuff for kids. more

Art is even better in the summer! 8/7/2005

The albright knox is a great example of the rich arts we have available to us in Buffalo. In the summer, they run a program called "Jazz at the Albright-Knox," which is a fantastic way to enjoy the weather music and even tour the gallery. It has quite an eclectic selection and a variety of exhibits throughout the year. Additionally, a restaurant is run on site which has a phenomenal brunch/buffet. Worth at least a yearly visit. Being able to walk to renditions of Ray Charles music is not bad either. more
