Who knew that such an excellent Italian restaurant existed in small town Illinois?! I am from Italy and I greatly enjoyed Alberto's. The food was excellent and the wait staff was impeccable. Great Wine Selection and some of the tastiest Ravioli I've had in some time. I highly recommend this small town Gem!\r \r more

Alberto's Restaurant is a best-kept secret in the Illinois Valley area! While it was rather difficult to find the front door, and to see an ""Open"" sign, once entered into, this restaurant has much to offer. A great atmosphere, bar area, diversity in age and culture to be seen. And that's not even getting into their fantastic menu of food choices. While their menu is slightly higher priced than most typical restaurants around the area, the food makes it well worth it. Fast/great customer service, and a nice open atmosphere make Alberto's a nice night out if you are craving some great Italian food, and don't mind spending a few extra dollars. Pros: quick service, spacious/open atmosphere, fantastic food. Cons: Needs a large lighted sign to tell that it's open, and to help find front door. more

Good Italian Food in a slightly out of the way location. Good drinks, large portions. A beautiful wait staff. Slightly pricey for small town America, but a good dinner spot after a day at the state parks. Hardest thing to find is the door, which is on the north side of the building. more
