Mexican Food in a Snap. 7/11/2006

Man, this place is great. It might not look like much, given that it's basically a drive-thru with a small outdoor dining area, but you know what they say about judging books. The signature dish here is probably the Carne Asada Fries, which is basically all of the ingredients of a carne asada burrito layered on top of a healthy pile of crispy fries instead of inside a tortilla skin. Not only is it delicious, but it's a value. I've rarely spent more than ten dollars on a meal for myself. Plus, since it's a seemingly 24 hour drive-thru, the staff manages to get the food out quickly. Carne Asada Fries might not be entirely authentic Mexican food, but with prices and flavour like this, who cares? more

This is a good place to go for fast food Mexican-style food. The prices are cheap and the food is good. It opens late and it's pretty packed late at night too. If it's your first time here, I would recommend getting the Breakfast Burrito or the California Burrito. Both are cheap and good. more

Best Mexican Food in the world! (even better than stuff you get in Mexico) 8/11/2005

wow! the food here is so bomb it makes Dick Cheney hungry for another defense contract. you MUST get the carne asada burrito which features the best guacamole, and the most delicious homemade doughy tortillas you will ever taste. Other favs include the fish burritos/tacos (way better than Rubio's), pollo asado burrito, 3 rolled tacos, tortas, and if you have a grande appetite then you must get the carne asada fries. imagine a huge helping of fries in a basket, with carne asada, guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, and cheese drowning the fries. if you go early in the morning, the breakfast burrito is highly recommended. more

Love it 6/22/2005

I'm not a big fan of Mexican food, but I enjoy Albertaco's food. There is no indoor seating at this one, only outdoors but they have two drive-through windows and are pretty fast. Their carne asada nachos are delicious as well as their carne asada soft tacos. They will also give you their marinated carrots and vegetables on the side if you ask. Very inexpensive and open until 4 a.m.! more
