My experience with Albany Office Interiors started June 13th 2006, when we ordered $61,654.93 worth of Herman Miller Product for office cubicles for our state of the art showroom....

My experience with Albany Office Interiors started June 13th 2006, when we ordered $61,654.93 worth of Herman Miller Product for office cubicles for our state of the art showroom. Recently we decided to add 2-3 more cubicles, immediately we decided to give Albany Office Interiors our business, BIG MISTAKE. First it took 3 phone calls to the company'ssecretary to get a call back from the sales agent. When that call finally came he came to the showroom and looked at what we wanted to do and discuss possibilities. Never at any point did this person tell me that the company no longer sold Herman Miller Product. He actually led me to believe that he was going to work me up and estimate and get back to me within 3-4 days. That never happened never heard anything from the company or sales agent until i called them. At that point the gentlemen who came to meet me in person never even got on the phone, he had a secretary tell me that they no longer sold the product and gave me another company's name who could provide the product. So the sales Agent had no knowlege and was telling me he could sell me a product they no longer sell. The referred company was ACCENT, a company i would suggest all persons reading this to direct their business to if they want to be treated with any sort of professionalism or dignity. I called this company immediately within an hour i had their agent in our showroom doing the same thing i was trying to do over 10 days before thanks to Albany Office Interiors incompetence. The new company asked if we could get the floor sketch or audo cad file to show the showroom floor layout, to help with positioning of the new equipment. I called Albany Office Equipment 6-10 times with no return phone call. I was told by the secretary repeatedly that she would have the gentlemen who came to my showroom call me, never happened. I only heard from him when he decided to stop screening my phone calls and yelled at me the customer for his lack of professionism and customer service. Why would he or his company go out of their way to send me the floor plan when it doesnt make them any money. We only spent $61,654.93 with their company on 6/13/2006. Talk about going up and beyond for a customer. I wouldn't reccomend this company to ANYONE more
