Albany Obstetrics and Gynecology

The office is very busy and feels rushed from the front desk to the exam rooms. The staff seem stressed. I was in the waiting room sitting near the front desk and a patient had called in. She was at the lab and her script had not been signed so she couldn't get her lab work done. The receptionists said amongst themselves that they couldn't call and ask a nurse right them because the nurses get mad so the poor patient was told she would have to wait for a call back from a nurse. I called the office to ask about a medication and the nurse I spoke to was very terse. My friend had to have a biopsy and Dr Stawowy was very rough during the procedure. Another friend was given incorrect information from Dr Mosmen regarding a hysterectomy. Thank goodness she got a second and third opinion from two other doctors at two other area practices and avoided an unnecessary surgery. I don't recommend this practice. more

When I was scheduled to be induced with my 2nd child I was scared because I had major complications with my first. Dr. Vu was the doctor on call that day and I will ever be greatful! She was so understanding & skilled. I had a medication free & problem free delivery! 4 hours after I was admitted she help my little 9 pound 9 ounce moose in her hands. THANK YOU DR VU! In fairness, I have to say that the whole practice is great! Even the gals in the office are great! more
