Our Family owned business is located in the heart of Salcha Alaska and we have over 24 years of experience in the home heating industry. After many years of working for other hearth companies we decided to open a local family owned business to bring back excellent customer service to the interior region of Alaska and to serve our bush communities with the respect they deserve.
Being born and raised in Alaska we understand the importance of great customer service because when the brutal winter arrives each year there is nothing worse than a broken stove and no one around to help fix it for a reasonable price and in a timely manner. When we started our company we decided that we would be a different kind of heating store, one that focuses on helping customers find affordable ways to heat their homes versus a store that just uses people for the depths of their wallets.
We believe in keeping our local economy strong by utilizing our local industry and agriculture. What we mean by this is that we would rather buy pellets from our local pellet mill versus importing product from out of state and supporting the greed of large corporations. As far as agriculture goes there are many farms located in Delta Junction and on Chena Hot Springs Rd that grow an abundance of Barley that is perfect for use in our freestanding multi-fuel stoves and our biomass boilers/furnaces.
As a working class family we understand that no one should have to sacrifice family outings, vacations, or a half a months earnings just to heat their home. With heating oil prices constantly on the rise and out of reach for most families we are here to help combat the rising cost of energy with high quality and affordable primary and supplementary heating appliances. We have products that will fit anyone's budget and will pay for its self, in some cases within one heating season.
