Good vibes, great service 6/27/2016

I brought my car in for a check up this time and it went pretty quick and affordably. I am a huge fan of Alan Rice Automotive ever since they fixed my car the last time it was acting up, after other mechanics weren't able to diagnose the problem, Alan found was able to get to the bottom of it. And also got my fairly clean-emission car with a check engine light challenge to pass smog. I always appreciate A.R.A.'s expertise and persistence to fix my car!! more

Honest, thorough and efficient help. 4/23/2016

I was well taken care of on my visit. I had to get new brakes and an oil change and It was painless. I hate going to the mechanics but coming here is not a bad experience for me. more

Best place I have ever taken my car. I couldn't afford all the work I needed at once so Alan helped me by fixing the most important thing first. I then brought it back. Now it is better than new. more

I recently went to Alan Rice Automotive to have my fuel filter changed. I left very pleased. I didn't have a ride that day so I waited in the office. I was not waiting long and I was grateful for that. more

Great Service!! 1/7/2016

I've been very happy with the service I receive every time I've taken my car to Alan. I used to go to another shop in town. They too provided excellent service, but their prices became unaffordable. I get the same quality service (as a bigger shop), at a price that fits my budget. And, both Alan and Chloe are such wonderful people! I always feel like I'm in good hands with them. more

Emergency Repairs 10/15/2015

Everyone's nightmare is breaking down away from home where you don't know anyone. We called a highly rated garage we found on Yelp but because they were too busy to accommodate us they recommended Alan Race Automotive. Alan Rice fit us in even though they too were busy. They found the problem and provided a very reasonable estimate. We gave them the go ahead to order the parts and make the repairs. All was done promptly and professionally and so I highly recommend them and would use them all the time if I lived in the Santa Cruz area. more

Honesty in service. 8/28/2015

I had a problem with my seat belt light being on and it appeared to be a bigger problem than expected. Alan was able to get it taken care of for me and I was glad for that. The thing that struck me the most was his persistence with the whole thing. more
