This man should not be in business! He is very rude, and practically throws you out of his shop! I have never been treated this badly before. I was just trying to get some money for some coins. He didn't want to go through the work! Excuse me? What are you in business for?\r Do not patronize this dealer. I would not recommend him to my friends either. more

Dont let the demenor of this dealer get to you. You will find you can get some of the best deals around if you are patient and come to the shop knowing what you want. We are very busy and do our best to serve you promptly. It helps us if you need multiple coins to have a list for us and give us a call with your list so we can have a jumpstart on it. know what you are looking for. That helps us also. With gold prices soaring your gold eagles, Kreugers, Mapels, 50 peso, etc cant be wiped cleaned scuffed etc if you want to maximize your gains. if they are we can not give you the spot price. We cant sell them for that so we have to lower the % we pay. I have worked for this shop for 4 years and have seen it all and sometimes we have to close the shop early. I highly recomend you call before you come in just in case we close early for a show or a life problem. we all have those from time to time. 90% of our customers leave with a smile on their face but there are the other 10% that may have caught us at a bad time. I tried again thinking I must have the wrong number but had the same experience . . . I had to conclude it must have been the janitor . . .\r \r When I mentioned this to Dan he mumbled that it must have been Alan . . . I had no idea who Alan was \r at the time . . . and was surprised to find out later he was the owner . . .\r \r Well . . . I guess this set the tone for the experience . . . because the first words from Alan were an accussation ""aren't you the same guy who came in here a couple days ago"" . . . and his friend had to correct him that was another guy . . .\r \r Long story short . . . Alan agreed to buy my 1oz Gold Eagle for spot, took my coin into and came back and counted out the money. I asked him why coin dealers are so cross . . . when he flew into a rage . . . shouted . . . ""F@#$ You"" . . . grabbed the money and stormed into the back room . . . \r \r I guess I'm lucky he returned with my coin . . . tossing it down on the table he said ""Get the F@#$ Out"". . . and pushed me forcfully towards the door with what the police would classify as a physical assualt. I turned and told him that he was definitely being cross and he pushed me even harder into the door . . . his buddies had left earlier and he could've kept my coin and made up whatever story he wanted . . . I wouldn't put it past the him .. . . \r \r . . . Someone oughta warn the Public about his Temper . . . ! ! !\r \r \r Seriously frustrated . . . more

I have dealt with Alan Kreuzer for over 25 years. He has been attentive to my needs, has excellent coins, and when I was down and needed to sell, he offered a better price than anyone else.\r \r I have directed in my will that my children turn to him to sell my US coins if they should wish to do so after I am gone.\r \r I strongly recommend Alan for all US coins. Pros: Has good quality coins for sale. When buying, pays a higher pricer than others. Cons: It would be better if he were in Los Angeles. more

I was born and raised in CA- we lived in CV from 92-99, then moved to ABQ NM- My Wife and I collect Coins- Morgans, high grade, regardless of mint/year- We have good dealers in NM, fair priced, fair selection- So we come here to visit friends- happy to find a ""new"" coin store- we call, he says he's open till 6- I run over- asked to see Morgans- Raw, slabbed, whatever. He hasles me over not having a list- I need 2 Key dates to finish our second set-93s and 96--We but anything with mirror finishes. He reluctantly brings out a box and plunks himself down with me- that's cool- he doesn't know me from jack- I look through them and started setting some aside to ask a price- He tells me he's in a hurry (415pm, he said he closes at 6) and I gotta ""make up my mind"". I tell him I have a stack working, and need prices- he gets indignant as I explained to my friend who tagged along (and was looking for a place to dump about 10k in metal, but wasn't sure) what some of the grades (MS60---VF, etc) were- this Alan guy was like ""tell your buddy back in ABQ, I got stuff to do.."" I told him selling coins was obviously not one- I told him I had $3500.00 with me to pick up nice Morgans- And pushed the stack back to him, and left. I turned back and told him that, and he simply swore a bit at me for ""wasting his time??"" I had a stack of 8-9 when he got rude...and told him I had hoped to spend some cash, but he was not interested- he blurted out some cra$ like he sells more in a day than I buy in a year- he doesn't know I invested a little over $100k in Morgans last year alone- and half that more in Gold Double Eagles and other Gold Type coins- \r \r This Pric^ can pis# off, and let the suckers willing to pay $4 over spot for silver come in and dump their cash to him- I'll take my money to respectful dealers in NM-this guy needs fresh air and that will happen only if he gets his head out of his big butt--- better to risk EBAY! more
