Alamo Rent A Car

Well, I had a nice experience with Alamo. I had used Budget previously and they seem to run on such skeleton crews to keep prices down that I had to find my car in a lot with no lights, and then couldn't find the buttons in the car because it was so dark. As well, had to wait an hour in line to pick up my car because only one person was on duty. The car was dirty inside and still had people's snack trash inside.\r \r Nothing like this at Alamo. I walked up and was greeted with a smile and friendly demeanor. I was handed my keys in less than two minutes. I then walked to the lot and received my car just as quick. Drop off was also quick. The car was spotless too. I will be using them again. I didn't have the problems the other person did that had a tire go out so I can't comment on their customer service during problems. So, I have to recommend them. more

This has been the WORST rental experience I have ever had.DO NOT use this company or Enterprise at the OKC airport. They are affiliated. The Enterprise representative named Brittany looked and ACTED like some tossed away punk rocker complete with facial piercing and rude beyond belief,on the phone and in person. When I requested a manager's name she smartly replied, ""which one?"". She later made the statement that ""I was still talking."" As if to say she didn't care what I had to say. I submitted complaints to both companies on their websites and only received an automated reply that my complaint was receieved. I attempted to contact the locations by phone and was always put on eternal hold. I had to change my own blown out tire because their roadside assistance is a part of rental insurance packages. Otherwise you pay out of pocket for assistance. Which is why I initially called them as I was stranded in the middle of nowhere but got a sassy mouthed, rude representative on the phone. To top things off once I changed the tire, the spare donut was FLAT!!! To this date I have not received a single word from anyone from this company regarding an apology. more
