We visit Kauai twice each year, and routinely rent cars from Alamo in Lihue. With the help of Costco discounts, Alamo nearly always offers the best prices. Their choice of cars is excellent, staff is friendly and helpful--even the shuttle drivers are great. We're loyal Alamo customers. more

We have using Alamo @ Lihue for several years now when we travel to Kauai. Everyone that we have worked with is very friendly & pleasant to work with but Belinda has really gone out of her way to remember us each year when we come back and always makes us feel so welcome! We actually look forward to seeing her each year now! We have always been very happy with our rentals from Alamo, the vehicles are always clean and in good condition, we enjoy that our phone syncs up to the vehicle. We have no complaints with Alamo in Lihue at all & we have recommended them to our friends that are heading to Kauai. more

Except for the DIRTY Windows inside the CAR everything was good. Please be aware if you arrive and must drive in dusk or at night to check the Windows for film, being blinded at night due to the inside of windows \r being dirty is really bad. The people were nice and pleasant and the car other then windows was OK, maybe a little dirty outside but it had been raining. The car seemed to be well serviced, if they would just clean the inside of the wind shield, you could see where someone ran a rag across at some point, outside was OK. more
