I think mahamed is writing his own good reviews. people becareful. once you pay your money online , no one will answer your phone calls. Mohamad show 2 times late for the appointment. He even forgot that i have appointment although i called him the day before. His execuse he was sleeping!. Becareful and read their terms before you pay your money online. They will never give your money baxk if you are not happy with him. Also when driving ,he will make you do favors for him like stopping to get tea or coffe from some place or picking or solving other problems. Iam sure after this review he will write something good about himself.Please becareful. Do not make abig purchase. first time just buy one or two lessons. more

My story: I'm a student at UFM Minneapolis and I had no experience driving and have never even touched a steering wheel until January 15, 2012 at Alamo Driving School. At first, I was skeptical because of the number of positive reviews, but after a few calls and email to their office, I was immediately attracted to their amazing customer service. Leeta, Mariam and Mohamed, who help answer phone calls, are extremely patient, open to questions, know everything you need about how to get your driver's license, and they go the extra mile to make sure your driving lessons are booked at a convenient time that fits your schedule best. I was worried that there would be no openings for lessons and be wasting time while they hold onto my money, however, Lana and Christina made sure I had my 3 lessons (2 hours each) booked in a 2 week period. My first 3 lessons were with Mohamed. He has more than 10 years of driving instruction experience, and is one of the owners of ALAMO Driving School. He made me feel calm even though I was nervous and felt like the car was in control, not me. I almost crashed into a car, but Robert pressed on the brake and saved our lives. Mohamed talked to me calmly and made sure I understood what I did wrong. He cared about our life, and he cared about making me into a good driver rather than only caring about passing the driver's license or earning money. He's right - learning how to drive well so that you don't put your life and other people's life in danger is more important than a paper driver's license. So I decided to invest in 4 more driving lessons. There were 2 major mistakes I made in my first 3 driving lessons - wearing thick soled shoes (you won't be able to feel how much your pressing on the brake and accelerator) and taking the bus to Alamo Driving School (you'll feel tired even before you take your lesson). Before moving to minnesota, i tried to get my license in chicago where my experience was terrible.I ended up with a "worst ever driving instructor",who just exploited my nervousness in driving where he just made money.It was so bad that he never encouraged me and for three days he made me to practice on a same street.Days went by,he gave me many excuses and never allowed me to take my road test(since i was depending on his car).After three weeks,i forced him to take me for the road test since i was moving to MN in a day or two,even in that moment he asked me not to take and said me "u will fail if u take your test today" :( At last,i left chicago with no license. After moving in here to MN,i was quite skeptical in choosing the Driving school. But,guess what!!! I was soooo lucky that i landed up with Alamo driving school "Choosing Alamo driving school is the best ever decision which i took in my life." I took just 6hrs of lessons which includes road test too.Just two days of class and two hours before my road test," I GOT MY LICENSE" in the very first attempt. My instructor was Mr.Mohamed. He made me feel calm even though I was nervous and felt like the car was in control. He cared about making me into a good driver rather than only caring about passing the driver's license or earning money. The first day he took me to the highway,second day he taught me 90 degree parking and parallel parking with ease.I was surprised,is it me doing it?? yesssss.....but it was just because of him.He teaches you in the best,easiest, and fastest way possible.Mr Mohamed is the best instructor i ever had,he is awesome. The staff is very knowledgeable , Mohamed and Mercedes helped me feel very comfortable behind wheels.I would highly recommend Alamo Driving School to everyone . I was trained by Sears, Midtown driving instructors and failed 6 times!!! Finally I was fortunate to meet the 5 stars Alamo Driving Instructor Mohamed Ahmed. I was trained with genuine care,with true pictures of techniques,safety and rules of driving and got the License on the very first time of testing with Mohamed. He taught us as a father to a son or as his own family. His efforts are priceless once he get to start teachings. He is truly a huge asset to the families, communities, states, nations and the world as whole. He has genuine sense of concern for others. His teachings are far more precious than his service price.I owe millions of gratitude and appreciation to Mohamed Ahmed on behalf of all the desperate students he had helped so far and the future students too. i took 6 lessons with Mohamed in there n he was so great that i start after that driving by myself for a while. just yesterday went back to quick parking review. he took me 2 the test same day n got my driver licence from 1st time. all because of Mahamed n his excellent teahing ability. more

I must confess that I am not a huge fan of writing reviews, but I felt I owed this to Mohammed and his driving school. I enrolled without knowing what to expect but I can safely say I walked out getting much more. Mohammed's focus is not just to help you pass, he "insists" that you learn to be a "safe" driver. His parking tips are excellent - easy to remember and effective. I have been going around strongly recommending Mohammed to my friends looking for a driving instructor. I have recommended very few people and Mohammed is one of them for his sincerity and dedication to his job and even going the extra mile. I wish him all the best. more

When I met mr Mohamed He wellcome me and was so nice. He teach me how to drive and was very helpful show me all the rules and signs. I will say he's best teacher in minneapolis.
