Granted the Alamo is an older theater, but so what? It's the best movie experience you can have imo. The place is just so cool it makes any movie better. more

Great Place To Watch A Movie 6/12/2007

When my wife and I first tired this place out we believed it was not possible to have a full service waiter serve us and not have the movie interrupted. We loved the experience and we are now regulars Pros: Food + Movie, Fast Service Cons: Long Ticket Lines On Fridays more

If you wanna go out for dinner, drinks and a movie but don't feel like driving all over the place, this is a great deal for you! 1. Designate a driver 2. Buy your ticket 3. Grab a beverage (fairly large selection!) 4. Proceed to the theater with your drink 5. Order from the menu 6. Sit back and enjoy your dinner and movie! ... Dinner at your seat and Great Prices! 2/14/2006

My husband and I love this place!! You can eat dinner at you seat while enjoying a wine spritzer or draft beer (among other selections) and with the exception of a couple of special showings--kids aren't allowed so you don't have to listen to screaming for 2 hours. The movie ticket prices aren't bad either - $5.50 for students with college id. In my opinion, can't beat it! more

Dinner AND a movie! 10/12/2005

Alamo Drafthouse has become my husband's and my new favorite place to go to see a movie and have a good meal. The food is reasonably priced (like $6.95 for a 9 inch pizza), especially compared to movie theater food! And it's REALLY good. They play all the new movies, AND they serve alcohol. On top of all of that, it's 18 and up, so no kids will be kicking your seat! more
