In 1915, Al Ringling gave his community a gorgeous present - the "Prettiest Playhouse in America". And so it is. Still open today, the Ringling Theatre has not been remodelled in any way to change the look or feel that it had nearly 100 years ago. It houses both movies and live performances, and is an asset to Baraboo, WI. When you walk into the theatre, you feel like you've stepped back in time. Tasseled draperies, and intricate ceiling and plasterwork, you feel like you've stepped into an opera house.
Tickets are inexpensive, which make a trip to the theatre a must - it's an experience in itself.
Definitely check it out!
