As a Ford Motor Co. employee, I was offended by their advertisement that they "got rid of Ford". This was at the height of the economic downturn when the Detroit 3 were requesting government bailouts. Ford never took any money, yet Al Long's commercial was like a kick in the teeth. Shame on them. Well Ford is now rising to the top, garnering rave reviews and winning top awards. Our company is better than ever, and we employees are dedicated to maintaining our customer's satisfaction. I will never buy a vehicle from Al Long Ford because of this stupid, negative commercial. more

Al Long Ford is now Long Family Auto Center 1/19/2009

My family has purchased a number of cars from Al Long Ford. They now have changed their name to Long Family Auto Center. Ignore the www.allongford.com Website.. They are still in Business. The new website is www.longfamilyauto.com You will get the same great sales and service from the folks at Long Family Auto Center. These are honest hard working folks. I told them that I would help spread the word so here is my post! They saved me so much $ on cars for my wife and I. more

Like Eminem's 8 Mile this is where I bought my first new car!!! 4/25/2006

Located right on the corner of 8 mile and Schoenherr on the North side. Al Long has been in business and making customers happy for countless years. I was stubborn in the fact that my first car was going to be Brand New. Because of pride I saved up my own hard worked for money and bought myself a Ford Pinto (remember those?) I got it the very first year that they came out and I thought it was the coolest little inexpensive new car around. I remember the powder blue and than I followed up with having my own 8 track player installed (LOL). I'm almost embarrassed to say how much my car cost way back than. Good news, Al Long is still there today. more
