We have been going to Al Castello for several years. We have almost always been very happy with the entire package---food, wine, service. I have several allergies and have ALWAYS been able to have the staff help me find something I can eat, and they have always been happy to ensure I am able to find something that won't make me ill.\r

Yes, it is in a stripmall, but they have done a good job in decorating to soften the hard corners. Yes, parking can be difficult if you come during busy times. But we think it is more than worth it. \r

We have yet to order anything we had to send back, or were unwilling to order again.\r

The clue to getting good service with every place of business---be pleasant, ask for what you want, alert the waitstaff if something is amiss and give them an opportunity to fix that problem. We have NEVER had an issue with making a complaint at Al Castello, whether with waitstaff or ownership. The only problem we've had has been parents bringing small children who are unattended and causing a ruckus---we complained and the parents were asked to care for their children.\r

This is a real neighborhood, SMALL restaurant that seems to cater to customers needs. They aren't flashy but the food is GOOD. It is fun to watch kids watch the chefs when something in the open kitchen flares up, or their pizza is ready and is brought to the table. We have had good suggestions on wine choices as well as entrees.\r

Bruschetta, Caprese, Veal Parma, Pizza, Ravioli, Pinot Grigio, Plain or standard breadsticks are all good choices.
Pros: Ravioli, Pinot Grigio, Caprese
Cons: Parking, busy on weekends
