Greatest Italian Food In The U.S. 2/26/2008

I dined at Al Capone's several times during 2002. Don't let the small building fool you, the food is to die for. My favorite dish is the salmon pasta w/ capers; Ooh La La, Magnificent. The service was great everytime, and I have not been able to find anyone who makes italian food sooo good. The enviroment was diverse and everyone was treated with respect. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Pros: Food and People are great Cons: Lunch hour may require a waiting period, but take out is good too. more

I agree with the other posts. This is, by far, the BEST Italian restaurant you're going to frequent in Austin. I've had a lot of Italian food elsewhere, and this stacks up well. Great service - perfect ambiance. Very convenient location. If you want a great experience, go to Capone's!! Pros: Ambiance, Service, Food!! more

Fantastic!! 4/24/2005

The food was delicious! The service was incredible. The owner held the door opened for us as we walked in, personally came by to make sure everything was fine, and shook our hands on the way out asking us to come back. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is our new favorite Italian restaurant. Highly recommended!! more

Best Italian food in the Austin area. Great sauce!! Very friendly staff, and the owner keeps checking to make sure your comfortable. Tastes like homecooked. Great and friendly waitstaff. Make you feel like family. Pros: Sauce, Freindliness, Staff more

This is the BEST italian restaurant in the Austin metro area. It's definitely better than any of the chain restaurants around town. The food is always fresh & served hot.
