Best

Water pump was failing and making lots of noise. We were losing a lot of fluid. The techs replaced it and the tube, and now our vehicle is much quieter. We are no longer losing...

Worst

Way too expensive to diagnose problems.Adds that price to the price of repair.

Discovered another potential problem 1/13/2014

Fixed the speedometer within the hour diagnostic and even found a bad tire that needed attention. Kudos! more

Fred and his crew always try to break things down by what really needs to be done and then also mentions repairs that need to be done in the future. After my car was repaired this time they washed it and vacuumed and cleaned the dash. Nice touch ! more

GREAT SERVICE--NICEST GUYS 11/15/2013

MY HEAT WASN'T WORKING IN MY CAR SO I TOOK IT TO THE AKRON AUTO CLINIC THIS WEEK. DROPPED IT OFF BEFORE WORK, THEY GAVE ME A RIDE TO WORK, CALLED ME WITHIN 30 MINUTES WITH AN ESTIMATE OF THE COST OF REPAIRS (BLOWER MOTOR) AND HAD THE WORK DONE FOR ME TO PICK UP BY MY LUNCH HOUR. THEY WERE FAST, REASONABLE AND SUPER NICE. IN ADDITION TO THE REPAIR, THEY INSPECTED FOR ANY OTHER PROBLEMS AND OFFERED TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE FOR THAT WORK, ANDWASHED MY CAR IN AND OUT more

Awesome, plain and simple 11/13/2013

I read previous reviews and saw how great they were so decided to try Akron Auto Clinic out. My check engine light was on and I needed an e check in order to get my registration renewed. They were very friendly and helpful. I also didn't have much time since I had to be to work at 10. They tested my car, found 2 leaks that were causing my light to be on and had them fixed in a little over an hour, even cleaned up my car for me. I was on the road, with no more check engine light, and to work on time. Definitely would recommend this place and definitely will come back. Reasonable prices, great service and friendly atomsphere, that is what you get here. more

I love this place. They take good care of my car (which is hard to find because some don't care) and they make the price reasonable. Going to a shop and finding great service for both you and your car is hard to find, but Akron Auto Clinic is by far the best I've been to. more

Our old VW wagon needed many repairs, ranging from large to small, and we'd heard great things about Akron Auto Clinic, and decided to go for it. We are so thrilled with what they did. We've never heard our engine sound so good, and feel like the car's been given a new lease on life. And they shaved money off of the original estimate. They came to pick me up with my 18 mo. old son, which I appreciated tremendously. I can't recommend them highly enough. more

Oil light was on 4/19/2013

Oil light on "SCARRY". They said not to worry, they put a switch in and changed the oil they said was due in less then 100 miles. All done in less then an hour and less then $75.00. They are always great! more
