Having experienced poor dental care at several other offices in Westchester I have finally found a great Dentist office. No matter what it has been, wisdom tooth extraction, routine cleaning or cavity filling, every part of working with Dr.Shirakura's office is a complete pleasure. I am so happy to have found these great people!! more

Another Stellar Visit 10/27/2011

As a patient for over 25 years I can confidently say that every dental visit(and there have been many) has always been a very positive experience. The staff is friendly, personable and competent. I have known Joanne Laura and Lucy and of course dear Dr. Fields for many years. Although my relationship with Dr. Shirakura is relatively new, I am happy to say that I have found him to be an excellent practioner, skilled, patient and kind. His assistant Cynthia is also lovely. If I forgot anyone, my sincere apologies but again,thank you for making every trip to the dentist almost as nice as a visit with old friends!! more

Amazing work, incredible staff 10/20/2011

Dr. Shirakura worked with me to establish what treatment plan worked not only with my goals but also my budget. The staff is incredible. I would go no where else. I will refer, refer, refer. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done. more

2.5 hour appointment 10/13/2011

I had a 2.5 hour appointment this past week for the first part of crown placment on 2 teeth. It was a long visit but Dr. Shirakura was very kind,took time to acknowledge if I needed a rest and was most responsive to my many questions. Even the temporaries look great. He also followed up the next day to see how I was feeling. Highly recommend. more

I love Lucy 10/12/2011

I actually enjoy my cleanings with Lucy. She provides strategies to help me take better care of my teeth and she makes sure that I know how to use all of the little gadgets she gives me. Dr. Shirakura is very nice when he comes in to check my teeth at the end of each visit. more
