I took my dog there years ago, and again treated him like a slab of meat. He basically hung him by his collar. I grabbed that mans hand and told him to get it off my dog. I tell everyone how awful they are with animals, but nobody listens, not even my Mom. Moms cat not peeing normally, so bladder, UTI or kidney infection. Anyway, they talk her into xrays, blood work and a number of other things adding up to $490 so far. They take advantage of the elderly and do not care about your pet! Do yourself and your fur kid a favor stay away! more

I have been taking all of my animals here for years. every time i go to just pick up food for the cat they ask how she and the other pets are doing. they are very affordable and caring. i have recommended them to all of my friends and family. more

We had a lovely, vibrant kitty named Tiger, who we took to AKAL Animal Hospital for a routine neuter procedure. Well, Dr. Randhawa ended up killing our pet during this routine procedure, and rather than apologize, justified the death of Tiger by very coldly telling us that ""these things happen."" We checked with several other veterinarians who state that this is very rare. Afterwards, we checked online for reviews and found testimonials from people explaining how their pets were treated ""as if they were slabs of meat"" and how this place ""does not care about the health of animals."" My dog was attacked by a pit and I took him to AKAL were there hours are from 8:00a.m.-6:00 p.m. I called at 6:10 and all they said was "" Bring him in , bring him in will wait for you"". The price were shockingly affordable and they saved my dog. I have returned there again and again, mostly for shots, but every time they see him they ask how he is doing. AKAL Animal Hospital is a great place to bring your pet for affordable pet care and they truly care for the animals. more

One of the best experiences at a vet ever 4/12/2012

We went to see the good people at AKAL with some trepidation since we'd never been there before, but our regular vet's clinic was being remodeled, and AKAL had been highly recommended to me. I recognized the owners are a lovely Sikh couple. We brought to them our elderly German Shepherd and they could not have been more responsive and kind. I felt as though I was at an old-fashioned vet's office in the best possible way, in that he examined our dog and didn't merely perform tests on him. I instinctively trusted them and my trust was rewarded. Their prices were very, very fair. They also seemed as concerned about our girl as we were. I can't recommend them highly enough. more

Akal Animal Hospital is great!!! They dont overprice or overmedicate just for the money. I take all of my pets there. It can be a little hard to understand when communicating (heavy accent). They are very genuine loving people. more

AKAL Helped Our Hurt Cat 5/31/2010

AKAL Hospital is where my family took our cat to have a small surgery. Her nail had been broken off inside the paw, and they had to do a slightly invasive surgery to set her right. But now our cat is fine, and she healed well. I would recommend this hospital. more

These Guys Are Great 3/25/2010

I have been using AKAL Animal Hospital for my pets for years. They are the most caring people I have ever known. They treat your pets as if they were their own and treat you as if you were an old friend. I had a kitten with Parvo who was saved by their care. And they called me at home for 3 days to see how he was doing. When I had a mother cat that was hit by a car and paralyzed from the waist down they did the same. Fortunately she recovered. You can't get better veterinary care anywhere and I recommend them to everyone I know. more

Very nice people! Sometimes hard to understand and a little blunt but very genuine. Very good prices!!! Can't find another hospital in all of the antelope valley with such reasonable prices. more
