Absolute BEst SUSHI you will ever have in your life!!! 8/9/2008

the 1 star rating is obviously a spiteful competitor. I have been going to Aji since they opened. The quality of the food is unmatched by anyone. The pricing is reasonable. The selection is enough to satisfy any taste. I have friends that go there that don't even eat seafood and have the Teriyaki chicken or the Pad-Thai and LOVE IT!. The service is excellent as well. I highly recommend anyone who likes GOOD FOOD to go to Aji and experience a meal you will not soon regret. The Bento-box is great if you can't decide. I love the Shashimi because you never can get such a variation anywhere. I am going there for my birthday and also went for Mother's Day. I swear this restaurant should be ranked with the all time greats. !!! Pros: The Food, The Service, The Ambience Cons: That is isn't next door to me. more

Best sushi I've had in a very, very long time! 3/5/2008

I've been going to Aji Sushi for a while now (about once a week for lunch) and absolutely love it! The Bento Box style lunches are fantastic and offer several different flavors that are sure to please just about anybody. They include your choice of different terayaki prepared meats/fish, a california roll, sushimi, rice and a nice little salad and some very delicious miso soup. The overall choice of rolls is extensive and I have yet to try one I didn't like. I do highly (very highly!!) recommend the Morris Plains Roll. I had it for the first time today and can't stop thinking about it! The service is very pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere is somewhat modern but relaxing at the same time. Don't let the look of the outside of this place fool you. It's one of the best places to eat lunch (and dinner I suppose...I don't live here; just work) around. Whether you're a sushi afficianado or just starting out, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed! Great Local restaurant 2/12/2008

We live in Morris Plains, and Aji is one of our favorite restaurants. We have been there at least a dozen times and have always had great food and great service. They also deliver with a smile! Try the Morris Plains roll - my fav.\r \r Sounds like a very jealous competitor with very bad English has been writing them bad reviews which are completely undeserved. I've been reading reviews of Aji Sushi and I agree that it appears that the same person has been writing bad reviews - and they are unwarrented. This is a great restaurant and I have eaten there many times without any bad incidents. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is fast, friendly and gracious. They have delicious rolls and the pad thai (not sushi, but still worth mentioning) is very tasty. I know other people who agree that this is a great place for a casual night of sushi. I,m A Sushi-chef From Tokyo, Shinjuku! One day, myfriend & I Went to this Aji Fusion Japanese Restaurant!\r We had A Sushi-Platter ,& Bento-Box From the Kitchen Entree! They Declare They r Fusion Japanese Cuisine! I Found nothing Special in the Food, Nor fusion Style, I don't Really understand Why The People over-rating for 4-star! First, they don't have QUALITY OF FISH, NOR MANY CHOICE! Second, The INGREDIENT NOR FROM FRENCH! Third, The RESTAURANT HAS NO FINE LIQUOR OR WINE. Four ,the SERVICE R BAD! Five, the SUSHI-CHEF R CHINESE.......PLUS THE FISH R NOT FRESH! I been doing sushi for 20years, So I don;t think This Restaurant WORTH OF 4 STARS, Should have one star! Absolutely Amazing Sushi--- Best in the Area 10/22/2007

After reading the reviews here, I went out on a limb and chose Aji Sushi for my birthday dinner this past August. I've been to all the other sushi restaurants in the Morristown area, but none had left me eager to go back. Since August, I have been back to Aji 7 times! There are plenty of amazing rolls to choose from, as well as, many options for the non-sushi lover (like my boyfriend who loves the beef negamaki). I recently took my best friend there after raving about it so much. She felt the same way that the next week she brought her fiance there for his birthday. The staff are very friendly, accomodating, eager to please. The food is delicious (love the spicy tuna crunchy roll, king crab roll, black pepper tuna roll) and the prices are cheaper than anywhere else in the area. Can't wait to go back again!!!! I've never eaten at this restaurant, but I just have to say that all the one-star reviews seem to be made by the same person who keeps on creating new accounts and pretending to be different people. However, this person is not pretending very well due to the fact that nearly all the reviews (and usernames) follow a similar format. Don't pay attention to them. more

My Friend & I went to this Restaurant. We Had A Sushi-Platter & Some Special-Rolls; the Sushi-chef Doesn't Understand what we order.( They don't Speak English ) The Sushi were not fresh, the Rice were\r hard, also The Roll is Too much Rice, sauces were no good at all!
