Don't shop here! Buy your hot tub elsewhere! We purchased a hot tub a few months ago from AJ Spas. They sold us a vita spa, and a major factor in the purchase of the spa was the fact that it had a good warranty. We had floodwaters hit our yard 2 months after getting the hot tub and our hot tub no longer works. We called AJ spa, they came out and told us that the spa warranty doesn't cover water damage (it's a spa, and kept outside - shouldn't it be able to get wet?) and that it will cost around $2000 to repair. It is not covered by our insurance either. We were told we needed a new circuit board, so we researched and found out that the spa they sold us was actually from a company that is out of business, and that there is no way to get in touch with the company that bought out the maker of our spa. I would avoid this company at all cost and give business to a reputable, honest company. more

My husband and I bought a spa from AJ's a few months ago. We were treated with great respect and courtesy. We went back and forth between a few different tubs numerous times and the staff never seemed frustrated or pressured us into buying something. We felt completely at ease. Upon delivery, the men were friendly and nice and answered any questions we had for them with no hesitation whatsoever. Since getting our spa delivered, being first-time spa owners, we've had tons of questions about chemicals and running our spa. Every time we call the office, we are treated professionally and politely by the women in the office. They always seem eager to help us, regardless of how silly our questions may be. We love that the business is family-owned and that almost everyone we deal with is related to each other. We had our salesman, Greg, and his son and son-in-law deliver our spa, and we deal with his sister and daughter in the office on a regular basis. It's comforting to know that we know who we are speaking to. I have done nothing but RAVE about AJ's to all of our friends in hopes that they, too, will go into to store and have as great an experience as we have! more

We recently bought a hot tub from AJ Spas in Patchogue. It has been one of the most satisfying purchases we have ever made. We were impressed with the service and the courtesy your staff extended us. My wife and I have never owned a hot tub and your staff took an extraordinary amount of time educating us about spas and the models you carry. We did not find this level of customer service in any other Patchogue hot tub dealer. Thumbs way up! more

I have been a customer of AJ Spas for over 10 years. I purchased my spa from them, NEVER have i had an issue with their customer service. Relatives and friends have also purchased several spas from AJ Spas on my recommendation that they are a reputable and trustworthy company. From our time of purchased to present, they have always treated my family and I as VIP's. We have had service done and we have had to wait a day or two for parts but was always treated with respect. Pros: Family owned, all needs under one roof! Cons: Too many spas to chose from more

If you live in the Suffolk county area and is thinking to by a spa DEFINITLY BYPASS THIS PLACE!!!!! I Can’t tell you how much of a nightmare this company has been. I bought a hot tub 3 yrs ago and within the first 6months it was leaking .AJspas said that I got a defective spa and if I wanted to they would give me a good deal on another one. Well I called Sundance Company, and they made it right. AJspas would make an appt and never show but they always said we called and left a message but I never received it. When you tell them that you didn’t receive the msg they would say “Maybe I dialed the wrong number” well that excuse can’t work every time. They turned around and called me the customer a liar that I didn’t get the msg instead of apologizing. They would say when we get the part in well call you and hang up. This company lacks professionalism and customer service something has to be done!. PLEASE WHAT EVER YOU DO DON’T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BY A LIFE TIME OF HEADACHS!!!!!
