Airport Shuttle-St Augustine

They saved me time, aggravation, and worry. Their drivers were friendly, knowledgeable, and very good drivers! When they picked me up I did not realize I had left one of my packages in the airport. They went back the next day and retrieved it for me from lost and found. Since I live almost two hours from the airport this was a godsend. What delightful people. more

I will say that the service would have been excellent except for the fact that the driver did not bring a step stool to help me into the mini van. I am unable to get into a basic van and usually only go in sedans for any type of drive. When booking the reservation, I had spoken with Rita and she assured me that it would be no problem and the driver would bring me a step stool, but the van driver did not have this. At Jacksonville, I had a wheelchair, but only to the baggage area. It was a really long walk, which I managed to do with help to get to the mini-van. Unfortunately for me, I do not have the agility to manage to be able to get into anything more than 6 inches high. The service was very good, on time and the driver very capable. If you are not handicapped, by all means, I would recommend this company. RESPONSE FROM Airport Shuttle of St. Augustine: Hello Ms. Sherlock, We are so happy you would recommend our service! I am so sorry the driver didn't have a step stool. It is not customary because the mini vans are on car chassis, so they really are the same height as stepping into a sedan. We are actually the lowest cost around. Taxi's and Shuttles outside of JAX range from $120.00 to $160.00 one way to St. Augustine. Companies local to St. Augustine charge $65.00 to 80.00. our driver was exactly on time for a very early pickup. His car was large and clean. He was very pleasant and was a knowleadgeable driver and drive to the airport in direct way. He was very helpful with the luggage, we would gladly use him again instead of having our friend drive or pick us up. more

TRIP from St. Augustine to Jax airport -- Driver arrived a little early (on time) for pickup, was friendly and efficient, we arrived at Jax airport on time. Enjoyed drive to airport. Also used same service previously for pickup at Jax airport and delivered to St. Augustine address. (same comments). Very satisfied with service. more

I use for going from airport to Florida residence and back - Prompt on time pick-up, drivers are courteous, vehicles are roomy and clean, and price is fair (except the fuel surcharge). What else does one need! more

I was very happy with this shuttle company. When my flight arrived earlier than expected, I called them from the airport, and they were able to come pick me up earlier than the scheduled time. The drive was comfortable, with lots of pleasant conversation about the history of St. Augustine and plenty of tips about places to see and restaurants to go to. more

I have used Airport Shuttle of Saint Augustine and have been totally happy about all aspects of the service. From value to punctuality, everything is quite good . The last thing you want to have to worry about after a long journey is getting home from the airport. Even when your plane is delayed, Robin stays on top of the scheduling and has a car there on time. Recently, I had to make a lost luggage claim at the airport and although I gave my permission to leave under the circumstances, the shuttle delayed their departure just long enough for me to make it. I was very grateful after 24 hours of traveling. more

My friend arranged a pick up for me from JAX to St Augustine. I called my friend to inform her that I had arrived and they had tried to contact me by phone but had the wrong number so by the time that I had collected my luggage and left the airport, the lady in the car transfer booth had already been alerted to look out for me and addressed me by name. The car was sent around and I received a call as I was boarding to confirm that I had found the car. I was very impressed with this level of follow up. I arranged a return trip to JAX via the internet, which was very easy. Although I had confirmation that my payment had gone through, I never received confirmation of my pick-up order so called on the day in question to double-check. The driver arrived early and the transfer to JAX was in very good time. more

There is never a wait for Door to Door service, but because you called late that day, to say you were coming in a day early, we had to fit you into our schedule that late night. We do not charge you for the change, and we go above and beyond to provide the service when you need it. At times, if you call for same day service and we are booked, you may have to ride with someone else. A prearranged reservation will never have to wait. more
