I have been going to Airport Animal Clinic for over 15 years. It started with a dog we got at the shelter starting having extreme pain. Emergency vet recommended Mike Corwin since our dog needed surgery. Everything worked out great. We have the dog for over 13 yrs and Mike took care of him about 8 of those. \r
\r
Since then, we have had for 4 yrs a cat that developed kidney failure from treats from China. Don't feed your animals anything made in Chana. There are no regulations. Mike tried dialysis but it didn't work and we had to put him to sleep. He was in great amount of pain. I kept him on my lap and Mike sat beside me and helped me through a very hard time. He didn't rush me and showed a great amount of compassion.\r
\r
We then had a collie that died from a heart problem at about a year old. Mike treated her just like all our others.\r
\r
We now have two more dogs. One is just a fat boy but our other one has some really difficult issues that Mike monitors and controls. She has had two surgeries and Mike and the staff just treat her like she is the only dog they ever see. She is the sweetest most precious animal I have ever had.\r
\r
So, if you haven't guessed by now, our animals are our children. Some of the things people say about Mike are true. Mike does have a dry sense of humor like Bob Newhart but if you watch him with the animals, you know he is someone that has a true love of animals just how he handles them. I have seen numerous vets, but none compare. He will spend as much time with you as you need and will answer any question you have, I should know since I ask about a thousand each time I go. He never gets ruffled or rushes me. You should prepare yourself to see just about any animal you might think of though from a Lizard to a Parrot, to a Spider, or Eagle. Who knows? \r
\r
Bottom line is you won't find anyone that has more ability to treat your animals regardless of what is wrong with them! God speed! \r

Pros: Knowledgeable, Diagnoses Difficult Issues, Laid Back, Caring
