The best medical care you can receive 4/8/2011

Dr Corwin treated my chicken, Wanda, this week. He was professional, knowledgeable, ethical, medically astute and very professional in his demeanor. It happened that he saved her life, gave us the most compelling and accurate advice and incredible medical care. He has the animals best interest at heart. Wanda is happy, healthy and clucking around our backyard. Call him, make an appointment and take your pet. His care is worth far more than he charges and we are lucky to have him in Nashville! more

I Drive 500 Miles For Dr Corwin 12/19/2010

I drive 500+ miles just to let Dr Corwin operate on my Yorkies and that's no joke. I wouldn't trust any other Vet to operate on them. His staff is the most helpful I have ever seen and I have seen Vets from 5 states. I see my local Vet for little things but when it comes time for the big stuff I don't hesitate to get in the car and drive to Nashville and let Dr Corwin and his Staff take care of my Yorkies. They always tell me the truth and they don't hesitate to save me money. It's a little office and it doesn't look like it has all the Bells and Whistles of the high tech offices of some but it has more than my local Vet. They put their money where it counts - In the equipment and the Staff. more

Best Vet in Nashville 9/8/2010

I started coming to this vet because I have a rabbit and most other vets are unable to work on exotic animals. I now have a dog as well and continue to take both of my animals to Dr. Corwin. I have had such a great experience with this vet. He is very knowledgable and gave me training tips when I first got my puppy. \r \r I'm confused why someone would say don't drive up in a mercedes..my fiance and I both drive new audis and have NEVER had any problems due to the cars we drive. However, if you go into the vet thinking you know everything about animals and don't take his advice (when he obviously knows much more than the average person) I can see why you might think he is rude. There were times when he told me what I was doing with my animals was incorrect, and I took his advice and he's always been right. Listen to your vet because he has your animal's best interest at heart! My dog is VERY comfortable going to this vet and absolutely loves Dr. Corwin. I won't take her anywhere else. more

Wonderful Veterinarian 6/10/2010

I have been going to Airport Animal Clinic for over 15 years. It started with a dog we got at the shelter starting having extreme pain. Emergency vet recommended Mike Corwin since our dog needed surgery. Everything worked out great. We have the dog for over 13 yrs and Mike took care of him about 8 of those. \r \r Since then, we have had for 4 yrs a cat that developed kidney failure from treats from China. Don't feed your animals anything made in Chana. There are no regulations. Mike tried dialysis but it didn't work and we had to put him to sleep. He was in great amount of pain. I kept him on my lap and Mike sat beside me and helped me through a very hard time. He didn't rush me and showed a great amount of compassion.\r \r We then had a collie that died from a heart problem at about a year old. Mike treated her just like all our others.\r \r We now have two more dogs. One is just a fat boy but our other one has some really difficult issues that Mike monitors and controls. She has had two surgeries and Mike and the staff just treat her like she is the only dog they ever see. She is the sweetest most precious animal I have ever had.\r \r So, if you haven't guessed by now, our animals are our children. Some of the things people say about Mike are true. Mike does have a dry sense of humor like Bob Newhart but if you watch him with the animals, you know he is someone that has a true love of animals just how he handles them. I have seen numerous vets, but none compare. He will spend as much time with you as you need and will answer any question you have, I should know since I ask about a thousand each time I go. He never gets ruffled or rushes me. You should prepare yourself to see just about any animal you might think of though from a Lizard to a Parrot, to a Spider, or Eagle. Who knows? \r \r Bottom line is you won't find anyone that has more ability to treat your animals regardless of what is wrong with them! God speed! \r \r Pros: Knowledgeable, Diagnoses Difficult Issues, Laid Back, Caring Cons: Doesn't do emergency care but everyone needs time off! more

RUDE RUDE RUDE 11/10/2009

Took my little one in to see about it's legs. I walked in and the place was filthy. The staff was very unprofessional and was goofing off the whole time I was there. The doctor was being very ""smart"" with me when I was finally put into a room. He told me I might as well put my baby to sleep because it would never be able to walk. He was wrong. When I was leaving the woman at the front desk was laughing about her and they charged me $60 when he did nothing not even feel her legs. Don't drive up in a Mercedes... Cons: Rude DR, Awful Staff, Nasty Office more

FANTASTIC VET!!!!! 7/3/2009

We have been going to Dr. Corwin for 6 years now. We have a cat and 2 dogs. Our cat has been a health nightmare and suffered from more rare ailments than any animal should and Dr. Corwin stepped way beyond normal care to come up with solutions for us. He IS the best in town. Dr. Corwin has a great dry wit and makes visiting fun. Our dogs feel as if they are going to daycare because of how well the staff treats them. The facility gives a hometown feel in suburban downtown Nashville. Ignore Vivaladiva's comments she apparently is just that a diva and can't handle an upfront and witty Dr. Also she can't count because she states there are several negative reviews and there is only hers. Go to Airport Animal Clinic you will be glad that you did. Pros: Always attentive and professional, excellent staff Cons: None what so ever more

Best Vet 7/14/2008

Not only does this vet work with just about every single animal you can imagine (last time I was there he was examining an eagle), but he does an excellent job. He and his staff are extremely knowlegeable and professional. And as a bonus he is the best deal in Nashville. Pros: He will work on any kind of animal you can bring in. Cons: Driving distance because he is located near the airport. more

Horrid 6/20/2008

Very unprofessional, The Dr. was with good handeling of my animals but VERY rude and unconcerned & not informitive, The staff was unkind and joked around behind the desk. Very dissatisfied- I do not feel comfortable knowing I am not the only one after reading several other reviews with worse feedback than mine. Always check reviews first!!! Pros: cheap Cons: very unprofessional, rude more

Airport Animal Clinic is the best 11/8/2007

I adopted my 11yr old chocolate lab from them. Shes been going there since she was a puppy (thats a good sign). He, the vet, was really good with my mean cat, Sushi, too. He handled her like a pro. My dog is a senior and Im always worried. They seem to really care about the animals and will talk to you as long as you need to feel comfortable and to understand whats going on. They are also resonably priced. more
