Dai arrived within the window giving me by the office and I was called before he arrived. He was great, professional and battled spiders and mosquitoes to install the outside A/C contactor and thermostat. He seemed to troubleshoot the system and made sure before he installed the parts.
I believe he tested the thermostat in cooling mode only and I did not think to ask him to verify heating function. He did go through the programing of the Honeywell FocusPRO 6000 but I did not follow it well enough to even touch the unit. I suggest someone follow up with people that get the thermostat in a couple of days for questions or help. There are a number of U-Tube videos that are helpful but still confusing because they cover many areas.
My Sunday night experience with Walter was exceptional and he told me how to get our cooling going till Monday. I could not say enough about his helpfulness.
My only issue is with the cost of parts, it is hard for me to swallow a 200% increase over Home Depot but I know that having the part right there, installed and tested is worth it but I emotionally have problems with it. I appreciated Carol's call as a follow up this morning as well. So Sunday help, Monday service, Tuesday follow up are hard to beat, in fact you can't!
BTW I did get a discount. Sooooo all is well here and I love you guys.
