Air Quality & Beyond

After reading some reviews, I decided to give this company a try and scheduled them out to fix our AC unit problem. It appears that a lot of small companies don't like to repair water cooled systems. We live in a condo in west LA and we have a water cooled system. I called several companies and they wouldn't come out to fix my problem because they told me they don't do chiller system. Our building has a chiller on the roof and every other year we have a problem, and every company comes and charges Freon waiting for another year to come and charge again. This tech was the only one to say repair the leak and never charge the system. I was under the impression that charging the system was part of a yearly maintenance, but I guess all the other companies just wanted another service call the next year. I was glad they finally fix my problem they found a very small leak and my luck they were able to repair it. He explained that there are many times this leak is not accessible, which is probably why the other companies did not want to try. So finally I got the solution to my yearly expensive problem. I'm so amazed that this problem is gone, and I'm glad I took the time to read some reviews from other members. They were right on the money. This company is great and I give them 2 thumbs up. more

Excellent customer service, thorough, on time, and their business practices are beyond exceptional! We had a problem with our circuit board transformer that had burnt out. I had read the reviews on AQB Air and another heating company and I called this other company first and obviously they did NOT want business because they were rude and hung up on us! AQB Air has EXCELLENT and PROFESSIONAL service! I left them a message and they returned the call that same day, scheduled an afternoon appointment the same day, than even had the parts needed to do the job! They also took the time to check everything else relating to the heating including our thermostat! Obviously, they are doing everything right in running a business and will definitely send referrals to them! Thanks for the great job! Keep up the good work! more

I highly recommend AQB Air. I came across this company in reviews and the comments about the great quality of service was proven true when the technician came to service our AC system. The customer rep started the refreshingly courteous and professional service. When technician came he explained everything that he was doing, was very clean and courteous while performing his duties. Went beyond his duty to act as a translator between myself and the condo association representative as I can only speak English. As a start-up company entering into real estate investment, I highly recommend this company and have already referred them to my property manager for any future servicing of the AC unit. more

The men were very professional and helpful in teaching me how to start my system and how to use the thermostat, explained the air filter and when and how to change it. The type of service that AQB Air provides is something that you would expect a large bill at the completion but that's not the case. From the first estimate I knew I would choose them , their salesman was very knowledgeable and thorough and made me comfortable choosing their company. I highly recommend trying AQB Air if you are going with a new Heating or Air conditioning system, I'm glad I did! more

Just a week before Christmas my heater went out on us. I called a couple of different companies to get someone out to my house as soon as possible since my house was freezing cold and I have a 7month old baby. When I called Air Quality & Beyond Inc they urged that they would come out that exact day due to my family & child being without heat. Other companies told me that i would have to wait for the next day to possibly get an appointment or it would even be the following day after that. It made me feel good that Air Quality & Beyond Inc was concerned about my child and the cold weather that we were having. I would recommend them due to their prompt and fast service. Their service man was also very polite and professional. more

They were cheaper than any other company I called, but the customer service was unbeatable. They came out the next day, did their work and were done very quickly. Air Quality And Beyond Inc came to my house and created an energy efficient heating and air conditioning system for our ranch style home. The house was built in the 50's with rooms added on to make it a sprawling ranch house, with a lot of rooms needing different kinds of heating and air systems. We have two rooms that were add-ons and neither could accommodate ducting - so we had Air Quality And Beyond Inc install two mini-split systems that are mounted on the walls, require no ducting and keep the room perfectly warm or comfortably cool. more

I had a problem with my power on the night before thanksgiving, my entire house was completely out of power due to a circuit issue. I woke up early and looked for emergency electricians on Google. I called a place that was on the top of the paid search results and was told that i would be called back soon, I also called Air Quality And Beyond Inc. I told the person on the phone that I wanted to see what they had for appointments on Friday as I couldn't afford the emergency pricing. This information did not stop a technician from calling me back within minutes and spending 40 minutes on the phone with me. He was kind and I really felt like he cared about helping me, even though I am sure this is not what his plans were fro 8 am on Thanksgiving morning. He had me email pictures of all my breakers and was so patient as he walked me through getting most of my power back on. He asked me if I felt like this was a manageable solution until the technicians could come out and it would be more affordable for me. It was!!! I was thrilled to have power back for my roommates and I was able to be on the road and made it to Thanksgiving with my family. I really felt like the person on the phone cared about getting my power back. I really recommend Air Quality And Beyond Inc. I will update this review after they come out and give a permanent fix, but given the care that I have received this far, I am confident that I will just have more great things to write. more
