I'm a single mom and when my heater stopped working I was worried about who to call. I found AC Unlimited on Citysearch and I'm glad I called. I work and It's hard to take time off but David said he would come out that evening. the furnace is old and a switch had stopped working. David said it was because a filter was dirty. He replaced it and now my heat works again! more

I have been through numerous AC companies that seem to only care about money, but this one caught me by surprise. I found them on City Search and was overwhelmed by the service that I was provided. The owner, David, personally came out and worked his you know what off to make sure our system was not only working, but performing at it's peak. After he was done, he spent time with my wife and I explaining ways to keep the system in shape and to save a little money on our monthly electric bill. My A/C went out on a Sunday morning, it was over a 100 degrees and I was caring for my 90 yr old invalid mother. Called Air Conditioning Unlimited around 9:30am that Sunday morning not expecting to hear anything until Monday. Low and behold he called and was at my house before 11am that same day. Found the problem and gave me a reasonable quote as I needed to replace by 30 yr old A/C unit. He understood I was in a dire situation, lent me some portable (floor model) A/C units. He even helped me set them up. His crew was here at 8am the very next morning and installed a new 5 ton A/C unit and a new furnace. His crew cleaned up and hauled my old units away. Finer service I could not of gotten elsewhere. I highly recommend Dave and Air Conditioning Unlimited. My neighbor was so impressed, they had Dave give them a quote and then had them install a new A/C unit in his home a few days later. He has done a routine service call since to make sure everything was in top notch condition for the summer months ahead. Whoever wrote that nasty review above is not telling the truth and must have a hidden agenda, a competitor probably. There was no vile language, their appearance was neat and clean. They were prompt and courteous and went out of there way to help me when I needed help. I highly recommend A/C Unlimited to anyone who is in need of any A/C or heating service. more

I needed an a/c unit fixed in a rental house I have in the Knolls and found this company online. After an inital telephone conversation with David, the owner of this company, I was hoping for a reasonable quote for the work that needed to be done. However, he gave me an inflated quote to fix the a/c unit and then he made arrangements with the tenant to do the work BEFORE getting authorization to do so. Then when he couldn't reach me for payment (4 days), he threatened to remove the part both with nasty messages on my cell phone and to my tenant directly, he harrassed my tenant to the point that she had to call the Sheriff and left the house from fear of reprisal. He is the most unprofessional, unbalanced, foul mouthed contractor I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with and would recommend you spend your time and money on a company and ask for references.
