Great food, not so great ambiance 8/5/2007

I stopped by this place just a few nights ago and was very impressed by the friendly and attentive staff and authentic food. I love Indian food and felt that this place offered a slightly different take on the standard fare. In fact, there were things on the menu here that I've never seen before (only in India). I've only been here once, but I can easily see myself changing this rating to 5 stars in the near future after I've tried more things on the menu. If you come from a country where Indian food is now the national taste (like the UK) you'll be slightly disappointed with the general indian fare availble here in LA. Great indian food- check it out! 7/8/2007

Excellent Indian food in an intimate setting. I found Agra on citysearch for a last minute dinner date with an old friend. The restaurant in located right on washington and lincoln in venice. it is set away from the corner so there is ample parking. The resaurant is very small and intimate. The candle lit tables were set with lovely decore and the soft music was soothing. The food was excellent and VERY resonably priced. A complete dinner is priced at about $11. for meat dishes and $7 for vegetarian. The service was excellent and they even gave us free champagne. Also- you get a 20% discount for being a citysearch member. i will be visiting Agra again in the near future. The staff were friendly and helpful and you can also designate how spicy you would like your food! enjoy!! Don't Let the Outside Fool You. This Place is AMAZING! 6/1/2007

The outside may not look like much and the view of LIncoln leaves much to be desired. But the food, cleanliness and service more than makes up for it. We live in Venice and eat here almost every week. No lines, no attitude. Just great food, cheap prices and no hassle. Great delivery service too. Once you go here, it will become a favorite. more

Best I've Had in L.A. 11/24/2006

No, I'm not the owner of this place. I seriously don't understand how anyone could give this spot a poor review. The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly, it's never too busy; what more could you want? Maybe the meat dishes aren't the best, I wouldn't know since I'm vegetarian, but they fix tofu like nobody's business. more

Bad quality 11/14/2006

I ate here once on a whim and regretted it. With so many better options nearby, why you would want to pay so much for such bad food is beyond me. There's side-street parking and a bit in the rear, but the chicken wasn't good and their panang was mediocre. It's a rundown place that won't be missed. more

Shame on Siam 10/18/2006

I've been to a number of different Thai restaurants and this has got to be the worst. My wife and I were ordering in, and looked around at different menus we've received from the mail or under the door. Thought we'd give this place a try. Bad mistake. Cons: Beware of their hidden costs. more
